Vampire Weekend have announced a massive 2024 North American tour and recently shared two new singles, “Capricorn” and “Gen-X Cops,” from their upcoming album Only God Was Above.

The 39-date tour kicks off in April with the band’s total solar eclipse concert in Austin, Texas. The band will also make festival appearances at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City, and Primavera Sound in Barcelona.

Support on the tour comes from LA LOM (aka the Los Angeles League of Musicians), The English Beat, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mike Gordon, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Princess, Cults, Mark Ronson, The Brothers Macklovitch, and a Billy Joel tribute band called Turnstiles.

The new songs, “Capricorn” and “Gen-X Cops,” arrive with collage-like music videos using footage of Steven Siegel. Only God Was Above Us arrives April 5.
