Epiphone, in partnership with Gibson Custom, has recreated Adam Jones‘ 1979 Silverburst Gibson Les Paul Custom guitar.

The new signature guitar pays tribute to what the four-time Grammy Award winning Tool guitarist calls “one of my top favorite guitars of all time.”

It has a three-piece maple neck with a custom Adam Jones profile, an ebony fretboard, and a mahogany body with a maple cap.

Finished in Antique Silverburst, it also features a Custombucker pickup in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan Distortion in the bridge position, along with CTS potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors. It also has a Gibson “open book” headstock profile with custom artwork on the head.

Like his previous Gibson/Epiphone signature models, Jones was “heavily involved” in the creation of the guitar, Epiphone said in a press release.

The Adam Jones 1979 Les Paul Custom Silverburst, which is priced at $1,499, is available to purchas via Epiphone at https://www.epiphone.com/en-US/Electric-Guitar/Adam-Jones-1979-Les-Paul-Custom/Antique-Silverburst.
