The pizza squirrel supposedly was seen scurrying out of an alley and up a tree in Ukranian Village Friday, according to a DNAInfo report, holding our favorite hangover snack—a slice of cold pepperoni pizza. (READ MORE HERE)
The photo was posted to twitter by Melissa Mcewen who is now my favorite person on earth. I really hope someone gets video soon or it will make this sighting harder to believe, but this really is the greatest thing to happen this week and my nonna turned 90 on Tuesday!! – @marconibologna

The fourth annual Summer Film Series returns to Millennium Park, and we think this year’s lineup is sure to please most Chicagoans. You can see all your favorite Chicago classics and more this summer when the free film series returns to the lawn at Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Bring a blanket and catch films like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (READ MORE HERE)
Don’t get me wrong I love Ferris Bueller’s Day Off but I don’t know If I’m ready to join hundreds of others outside on a lawn to watch it. Though I will say watching movies in the park is kind of awesome in theory, but I think I’m more of a “hey let’s set up a projector in the backyard” kind of guy if I wanted to get the drive in movie vibe. I would however love if Matthew Broderick or Mr. Bill Murray had a Chicago film festival / tour of the city that ended with a pub crawl hosted by Mr. Murray Mr. Broderick. Just puttin’ it out there. I’ve got ideas and dreams! – @marconibologna
I can only imagine if you’re on the Cubs how hard it would be to keep your cool if you were terrified of mimes. – @marconibologna

For some of us, beer is the impetus for working out. But for brewers, it is a workout—and not just for the biceps (i.e. raising pint to mouth). As part of Chicago’s first West Town Migration Week (March 28-April 1), five days of tastings and dinner with rare offerings and favorites, Goose Island wants to show us how brewers stay in shape with an exercise class highlighting their daily tasks. (READ MORE HERE)
Finally a workout that gets me. Why can’t this be the new trend?? It has everything you need to get in shape, weights, cardio, beer!! – @marconibologna

The McDonald’s next to Wrigley Field is gone and a lot of people are acting it’s like the end of an era. It could be, or you could spend 8 minutes in a car and hit the one on Ashland. DNAinfo hooked up the video. They have more HERE. -Lou
Ever steal anything when you were younger? This kid probably has you beat. Not condoning what he did, but he does handle that huge truck pretty well for an 11-year-old.

The Apple Event 2016 gave us so many things:
Apple isn’t abandoning small iPhones just yet. The company just debuted the iPhone SE, a new 4-inch device with a design that largely resembles the iPhone 5S.
iPad Air 2 will be getting a price drop and start at $399 for the 16GB model, instead of the prior price of $499. The drop follows the reveal of the new, smaller iPad Pro.
New version of tvOS, which is available now. The updated Apple TV software adds new voice search, dictation and support for Apple’s Live Photos.
When the Apple Watch first launched a year ago, Apple made a big point of presenting the device as a fashion accessory. On Monday, the company doubled down on that initiative by releasing a series of new bands that offer more options for the style conscious.
Expansion on ResearchKit called CareKit that focuses on the health and care of users. ResearchKit is an app for iPhone that allows people to easily participate in medical research used by doctors and researchers in several fields.
In addition to announcing a new iPhone and iPad Pro, Apple on Monday announced an availability date for iOS 9.3. It will be available later Monday. (READ MORE HERE)
The Apple TV update looks pretty great although I ditched mine for Chromecast long ago this update could have me back in. iPad Pro 9.7 inch does interest me. The pencil looks awesome. The new 4″ iPhone seems a bit like the iPhone 5 but much faster with updated software etc. Lots to go over but nothing that felt like I had to have it right now like many Apple Events past. Perhaps the next update in the Fall will have the iPhone 7 with an endless battery powered by the sun or magical rainbows. – @marconibologna

Twitter is celebrating 10 years of existence today. Despite the constant criticism and concerns about its future, the short-messaging social media phenomenon certainly has a lot to celebrate. (READ MORE HERE)
Are you like me going “how is twitter 10 years old??” I mean seriously. I’m now trying to both figure out what I did before twitter and wondering what I’ve done with my life for 10 years. I know one thing, I have actually made friends and started relationships on twitter. It has also helped me learn to write better and even do my job on radio with more word economy. I will say it has been one of my favorite of all the social media apps. I still feel awkward when someone talks about twitter posts IRL. Mostly out of shock but then also I’m just really awkward. – @marconibologna
