A cheery bubblegum SNL music video starring Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and host Saoirse Ronan looks like it’ll be a delightful sendup of Katy Perry circa “Teenage Dream.” But listen to the words, and it’s anything but.
Women (Saoirse Ronan, Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Leslie Jones, Melissa Villaseñor) address the ongoing sexual harassment allegations.

“If 15 percent of the people don’t hate you, you suck,” Homme says
Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has responded to critics of his band’s new album, saying that if there isn’t some people that hate you, then it means that “you suck”
I might be a bit biased but QOTSA gave the best concert performance of the year at Night 3 of TNWSC along with Run The Jewels and Biffy Clyro. ICYMI here a few photos below. (Thanks Zach Spangler)

One More Light Live will feature performances from the band’s One More Light World Tour 2017, and it’s due out Dec. 15. The record will serve as a document of the group’s final tour with vocalist Chester Bennington, who unexpectedly died on July 20 at the age of 41. In revealing the new live set, the band recall Bennington’s determined artistry when recording their latest studio album.

Back in 1991, Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl played an acoustic set to more than a couple dozen people in Scotland. And recently, AltPress reported that a recording of their set for charity was unearthed.
Playing under the pseudonym “Teen Spirit,” (very deep cover, with that name🙄), the Nirvana duo played “Dumb,” “Polly,” and a cover of the Vaselines’ “Jesus Doesn’t Want Me for a Sunbeam.” The audio is a little rough, but not bad for tape that is 26 years old. Enjoy. — [eric]
