Now that Halloween is less than three weeks away, the scramble is on to find the perfect costume. Here are a few of the less-obvious ones we found online:
Naughty Deadpool (Listed on the site as “Red Merc” for obvious copyright reasons).

Say goodbye to your “parent of the year” award when you dress your small child like serial killer Michael Myers!

Finally: A naughty pinata costume!

Not to be outdone…

One has to wonder who would actually buy the “Adult Tommy Chong Kit.”

Double entendre, anyone?

Didn’t know this costume even existed. If the new X-Men “Dark Phoenix” movie doesn’t include a comics-accurate Phoenix costume like this, it will have missed its mark!

And this DIY costume from last year is pretty fantastic:
The Guillermobile lands in Lincoln Park for a trip to the notorious Weiner’s Circle.
The next time you complain about driving on the inbound Ike during rush hour, just know it could be worse: You could have a VENOMOUS SNAKE on your windshield.
From Australia:
Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz takes the wheel for the new Weezer video. Hasta luego, adios.
Wentz may have one of the greatest video lines ever, at the 3:35 mark.
Third Man Records co-founder Ben Blackwell wrote an essay on the value of tapes in the modern age in honor of “Cassette week”. Yes CASSETTE TAPES!
Blackwell thinks cassettes will be the “New 45’s”. At the end of the article, reveals one of the rarest pieces of his personal collection: a 1997 recording of Jack White singing on a cover of Blondie’s “One Way or Another” YES! It was recorded by 400 Pounds of Punk. Jack White served as engineer on the project, while also splitting lead vocal duties on “One Way or Another”.

The Lounge meet and greet photos with Dreamers!
twenty one pilots were on fire at the AMA’s last night. Literally.
Tyler and Josh are bringing the Bandito tour to the United Center with Awolnation and Max Frost. The show sold out immediately. That means there are a LOT of sad clique members here in Chicago. 🙁
Turn that frown upside down, we are hooking you up with sold out tickets all day tomorrow! Ticket Blitz Thursday starts at 9a with your first chance to win!

No one won the Mega Millions jackpot of $470 million last night, meaning the jackpot will continue to grow. The end result is what’s expected to be its third largest prize ever: $548 million.
Sure, it’s a lot less if you go for the quick cash out; you’d be scoring just over 300 million before taxes. That still leaves a lot of money for vacations, cars and an apiary… if that’s your thing.
The next drawing is Friday, and while the odds of winning are less likely than alien abduction (roughly 1 in 300 million), what could it hurt?
In his first return since headlining Lollapalooza, Jack White just announced a show at the Aragon for November 19! Show time 7:30pm. Doors at 6:00pm. General admission tickets ($69.50) go on sale this Friday, October 12 at 11:00am and will be available at Ticketmaster.com. 17 & Older. There will be a strictly-enforced 4-ticket limit.
From his press release, “Please note This is a PHONE-FREE show. No photos, video or audio recording devices allowed. We think you’ll enjoy looking up from your gadgets for a little while and experience music and our shared love of it IN PERSON. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and other photo or video-capturing gizmos will be secured in a Yondr pouch that will be unlocked at the end of the show. You keep your pouch-secured phone on you during the show and, if needed, can unlock your phone at any time in a designated Phone Zone located in the lobby or concourse. For those looking to do some social media postings, let us help you with that. Our official tour photographer will be posting photos and videos after the show at jackwhiteiii.com and the new Jack White Live Instagram account @officialjackwhitelive. Repost our photos & videos as much as you want and enjoy a phone-free, 100% human experience.”
If this scares you at all, know it is ALL GOOD. I was lucky enough to attend Jack White’s Official Lollapalooza aftershow at the Metro and it was actually a relief to not have my phone on me!
“BOARDING HOUSE REACH sees Jack White expanding his musical palate with perhaps his most ambitious work thus far, a collection of songs that are simultaneously timeless and modern. Written and conceived while holed up in a spartan apartment with no outside distractions, White replicated the identical environment and used the same gear as when he was a 15-year-old (a quarter-inch four-track tape recorder, a simple mixer, and the most basic of instrumentation) to pen sketches of the album’s songs. The album explores a remarkable range of sonic terrain — crunching rock ‘n’ roll, electro and hard funk, proto punk, hip hop, gospel blues, and even country — all remapped and born anew to fit White’s matchless vision and sense of restless experimentation. BOARDING HOUSE REACH is a testament to the breadth of Jack White’s creative power and his bold artistic ambition.”
If they can remake “It,” they can remake this one…

Carolina Panthers kicker Graham Gano nailed a 63-yard field goal with one second left Sunday to beat the New York Giants 33 to 31.
The only thing better than an epic walk-off field goal is the Spanish-language version of the call by Panthers broadcaster Jaime Moreno.

If you think Double Stuf Oreos have too much cream . . . well, get ready to choke on THIS.
Oreo just announced they’re going to be coming out with new “Most Stuf” cookies . . . which will have more cream than ANY Oreos ever.
There’s no word on exactly how much cream they’ve got, but eyeballing the picture, it looks like double the Double Stuf. And we don’t know the release date, just that they’re, quote, “coming soon.”
