Foo Fighters Tease New Song

fftease

Foo Fighters are teasing us with a minute of a new track – possibly called “Nothing’s Set In Stone’ – on their countdown site of mystery. The site is set to expire on November 23. I just thought it was a countdown to Dave getting his cast off. This is so much better!!

Eagles of Death Metal Issue Statement On Paris Terror Attack

eodm

While the band is now home safe, we are horrified and still trying to come to terms with what happened in France. Our thoughts and hearts are first and foremost with our brother Nick Alexander, our record company comrades Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez, and all the friends and fans whose lives were taken in Paris, as well as their friends, families, and loved ones.

Although bonded in grief with the victims, the fans, the families, the citizens of Paris, and all those affected by terrorism, we are proud to stand together, with our new family, now united by a common goal of love and compassion.

We would like to thank the French police, the FBI, the U.S. and French State Departments, and especially all those at ground zero with us who helped each other as best they could during this unimaginable ordeal, proving once again that love overshadows evil.

All EODM shows are on hold until further notice. Vive la musique, vive la liberté, vive la France, and vive EODM.

Burrito Drone Delivery Being Considered in Chicago??

By @MarconiBologna

burrito drone

City Council considering rules that would prohibit drones from flying within five miles of Chicago airports, near schools, hospitals and churches under a plan that will be presented to the Aviation Committee. The Chicago Park District would have the ability to designate areas where the planes and drones would be allowed. In addition, drone owners would have to register their devices as well as carry insurance.

I don’t really care what they do as long as this plan includes free burrito delivery when the Blackhawks win!! Also, If I’m at the airport, a hospital, picking up my nephews from school, going to church with my mom or looking at the Christmas Tree in Millennium Park shouldn’t I be able to have burrito drones drop the desired sustainable treasures I want anywhere I go? DON’T PUT YOUR RULES ON MY BODY CITY COUNCIL!! What are your thoughts on drone regulation (and burrito drone delivery obv the more important issue here)? Leave your comments on Facebook and Twitter. #BurritoDrone

Blink 182 Re-Releasing Albums on CASSETTE!!

By @MarconiBologna

Blink 182 was one of the most popular bands in ALT from the late 90’s – early 00’s. Now fans who loved them back in the day or new fans just starting to get into their music will soon be able to check out four of their albums on (get ready for a thrift store trip) CASSETTE?!!? YES CASSETTE!! I mean, do they even make those anymore?? *runs to his nonna’s house, searches, finds gently used wigs, old tupperware and…Denture cream?? WTH?

BLINK182 CASS

Srcvinyl will be releasing Dude Ranch, Enema of the State, The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show, and Blink-182 for 11.99 each, on CASSETTE. The artwork is cool. I like the idea, but maybe this is more for diehard fans to collect? Also, could this be the start of something bigger?? Like a BLINK REUNION?? Let’s hope the boys can put aside their differences and … REWIND… (crickets)…OH COME ON!!…Fine, I’ll show myself out.

PRE-ORDER YOUR BLINK 182 CASSETTES here
