Not Ready For Broadcast Podcast: Jon Kimmel talks writing South Park
Jon Kimmel is one of the talented twisted minds behind some of the best comedy on TV including his current work with his brother on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ , ‘The Man Show’. ‘Crank Yankers’ but his first big writing credits came with the Comedy Central institution ‘South Park’. The multi-generational animated chaos lead by Trey Parker and Matt Stone enters it’s 20th season this month, and in this unfiltered conversation Kimmel shares with us the process behind creating the funniest show on TV, how the show grew into weirder places, and how four foul-mouthed boys from Colorado go on their insane adventures. Kimmel who was in the writer’s room for some of the show’s biggest stories, also dishes with how he would hypothetically end the series. If you are just a casual fan of South Park, you will love this chat. Hamilton starts it’s Chicago run next week and to say tickets went fast is an understatement. If you’re still looking to get in, you might be in luck. Turns out they’ll be doing $10 day-of-show digital ticket lottery. 44 tickets per day will go for $10. So, the odds aren’t great, but if you really want to see the show it’s worth a shot.

Tinder & Spotify team-up to add music to your swiping
Tinder the popular dating app and Spotify one of the biggest music streaming services have collaborated on a new feature that will allow users on Tinder to feature a sample of a song on their profile for Spotify users and non-users. The feature will be called ‘Anthem’ will also allow you to sync your accounts so you share your taste in music. This not the first time that Spotify worked with a dating app, in June they made a similar collaborative feature with Bumble. If you are worried about someone on Tinder seeing that you have listened to “Ice Ice Baby” 15 times in the last week, don’t worry you can hide the more questionable music choices that people can see.
So if you see some potential in an attractive person you come across, make sure their listening to music that does not suck. Friends don’t let friends date people who listen Nickelback, right? To counter that, someone who you meet on the app who has really cool and fun tracks does that make more attractive on a first glance level? @kevkellam

Green Day Postpones Aragon Show

“GREEN DAY POSTPONE FIRST THREE DATES OF UPCOMING NORTH AMERICAN CLUB TOUR AND CANCEL TORONTO APPEARANCE
LOS ANGELES, CA – SEPTEMBER 18, 2016 – Green Day regretfully must postpone three of the first four dates of their upcoming tour and must cancel the Toronto appearance, all due to illness affecting several members of the band and its crew. The postponed dates are: St. Louis, MO on 9/20, Chicago, IL on 9/21; and Detroit, MI on 9/24. The show in Toronto, ONT on 9/23, where they were due to appear at the World Cup of Hockey Fan Village will be canceled. Schedule permitting, Green Day will make up all dates but Toronto, and tickets will be honored at the new dates.
“We’re so sad to announce we have to postpone three shows and cancel Toronto,” said the band. “Many of us have been battling this infection for days on end to be ready, and it just got the best of us”
