It’s been a rough few years for Tiger Woods, what with the philandering, breaking up with an Olympic athlete, and the complete and total lack of golf.
It was also a really rough morning today for the pro golfer, who was arrested and booked at 7:18 this morning for driving under the influence.

Disney’s first ever Marvel theme park ride in America ‘Guardians of the Galaxy : Mission Breakout’ opened this past weekend at Disneyland’s California Adeventure with much fanfare and high demand. Thanks to Youtube channel ThemeParkHD we have this first-hand look at the actually ride with the immersive holding area featuring outer-space creatures, appearances by the Gauridan characters,a rocking soundtrack, and an engaging story to the whole experience. It’s neat to see an animatronic Rocket Racoon spitting off wise-cracks. The whole ride looks really fun with well-crafted show of the fun of the ‘Guardians’ movies. Another fascinating part is that parts of the ride are relatively different during each individual romp making it more attractive to get back in line for another go.
As for the lines for the ride, that’s probably the only negative part to share. Â According to Gizmodo and many posts on social media by Disneyland guests, the line for ‘Mission Breakout’ had an estimated wait of seven hours without a fast pass. The fast pass line was not significantly better with a reported wait time of five hours on Saturday.

The new ride has angered some Disney fanatics who were not fond of the new Marvel themed ride replacing the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror that stood in the same structure until recently. Still it seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe under the ownership of Disney was bound to get some theme park love, and this looks like a great start. ‘Gaurdians’ director James Gunn  who contributed to the ride’s development,  had a very fun time at the ride’s premiere based on his Facebook post about it.
Inside the Magic conducted an interview with Disneyland imagineer Joe Rohde who gave insight what went into creating the ride and adapting the story for a theme park attraction.
Russell first tipped you off to a small bar show the Foo Fighters played Friday night in Napa Valley, CA before they headline the Bottlerock Festival tonight (Sunday, May 28th). Â You can see their performance of “Times Like These” in the link. Â That’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a band like that in a intimate venue. Â Kinda like our Lounge.
Found a bonus for you as social media continues to churn out what was captured. Â Check out this Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers classic, “Breakdown”:
Am I really in a club with 200 people watching the Foo Fighters performing a The Rolling Stones music?

Foo Fighters played a pop-up show in Napa Valley, CA at the Blue Note. The Blue Note only holds 150 people, so talk about a small show to warm up for tonight at BottleRock! Check out some footage below!
Wonder Woman kicks into movie theaters, so Conan O’Brien thinks he can kick…but he can barely get his foot up without cracking a joke. Coco’s best comedy comes from him riffing outside of the studio and this sketch is no different, as he learns combat skills from Amazonian superhero herself Gal Gadot. The fake muscle suit puts it over the moon too.
‘Wonder Woman’ comes out June 2nd.
Here is look at early reviews of the anticipated DCU movie.

Summer in Chicago may not feel like it’s here just yet, but when it’s close to summer, it’s really just construction season. These traffic-creating projects are popping up all around the city and the suburbs, and a project on Southport Avenue on the Northside has put some not-to-patient people in an unfortunate situation. The pics made their way around Twitter courtesy of the blog Southport Corridor   show some sad drivers who put their cars two tires deep into wet cement. I mean I would understand if they pulled over and just wrote their name in the wet cement so people remember them but now these pics are on the internet forever. That is just as a permanent as writing your name in cement but it’s not nearly as fun.
This particular construction project on Souhtport between Belmont and Addison has been extended to the end of June. DNAInfo has more.Â

‘The Price is Right’ is one of the best game shows of all time, and it’s still got that instant winner glory but when it’s clear a superfan of the show gets to be on the show….and win, well that’s awesome. It all went down big with a contestant named Ryan who made it clear he’s been watching the show his whole life as he keeps repeating “YEAH!” and “Oh my god!” as he miraculously  got called up to play and then proceeded to win a near maximum amount of $31,000 just a few minutes later. The Penn State student scored the best record on the game show’s classic Plinko challenge. You can not help but root for him during the entire video, it’s like there is Ryan in all of us up there in the game of life.

I don’t know why this is so funny, but 3 pages of Trump with really, really, ridiculously long ties is VERY amusing.
Check out some more huge tie pics here:Â and on twitter @TrumpTies
I want to put all of these up on my fridge.
Fun Fact: Warpaint was the first band to ever play in the Lounge. Watch their performance below.
Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 said he’d never played Connect Four before this. YEAH RIGHT!!

MY DREAM TEAM!!! I just want to learn that thing they do where they flip the food inside the pan over heat. I don’t know what I would do with it, but it looks really cool.

Last year, drummers Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters appeared on BottleRock’s Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage alongside chef Michael Voltaggio in a demo called “Drummers from Another Mother.” When Smith and Hawkins arrived on stage they were surprised to find custom replicas of their own drum kits—created entirely out of pots and pans. They immediately recognized their places on stage, sat down, and began an epic cookware “drum off.” The crowd went wild as the two legendary drummers played and, eventually, as they threw and kicked their drumsets around stage in a rockstar-worthy grand finale. No fair!! I thought I was the king of kitchen drumming!! Thanks a lot Taylor Hawkins, Tre Cool and Chad Smith. Just weren’t happy enough being amazing rock stars, had to be incredible at kitchen drumming too didn’t you!?!!

Tom Cruise while overseas promoting his upcoming film ‘The Mummy’, Tom Cruise confirmed there will indeed be a sequel to the 80’s classic. The film which starred Cruise as a young fighter pilot dealing with a rival in his class called ‘Iceman’ played by Val Kilmner.

The movie oozed the time that produced it with synthesizer-driven soundtracks, badass actions, and over-the-top fun.
Cruise recalled the memories of making the film and how he had to fly the infamous Blue Angels fighter pilots to prepare for the intense role.
