The teenager, identified only as Dylan, toldĀ Denver7Ā that he awoke to a “crunching noise” that he guessed was the bear’s “teeth scraping against [his] skull as it dug in.”

A woman at a baseball gameĀ didnāt have all the factsĀ when she complained about the āKKKā sign in the outfield.
The Atlanta woman was at a Braves baseball game when she noticed the sign in the outfield and tweeted her distaste, writing ādefinitely NOT ok.ā
āReally disappointed with this sign at the new #BravesStadium,ā she wrote Tuesday in a now-deleted Twitter post. But whatĀ the woman saw was the āK-Corner.ā Almost every stadium has one of them — the so-called āliving scorecardā where fans in the outfield keep track of the home pitcherās strikeouts.
She was ridiculed online for not knowing about the tradition. READ MORE
A grandma at a Dodgers game was featured on the Jumbotron on Saturday night.Ā At first she was dancing and having fun in the stands . . . then she suddenly pulled up her top and FLASHED the whole stadium.Ā She was wearing a granny bra, but still.
Maybe it’s because we are less than 25 days away from Lollapalooza, but I am getting more pumped by the day for this show. I am pumped like a Reebok in ’92. The Killers are headlining this year’s festivities in Grant Park on the heels of a butt-shaking new single ‘The Man’ and a new album ‘Wonderful, Wonderful’ in September. The Nevada darlings tore it up this past weekend with a sold-out festival headlining set on Hyde Parks British Summer Time series. Ā Their set featured an extravagant stage show with a curving LED screen towering over the band, pink confetti blasts, and singer Brandon Flowers sporting a pink leather jacket. If you can pull off a pink leather jacket, you are cool. Flowers is very cool.
So do we get this aesthetic dressing on our musical cake with the Killers when they take the stage at Lolla? I hope so, but Lolla rarely has big production to add the grand scale of a show that is regularly the largest musical festival in America. If we get all the extra pink confetti, let’s just put in our pockets so we remember the day. Ā Here are some social media highlights of the Killers in action at BST.

The Oasis classic ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ has become a uniting anthem for England after the recent terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. The song was played by Coldplay during Grande’s charity event and was sung by the people on Manchester during a memorial for the victims shortly after the attack. It even promptedĀ unfulfilled rumors that the feuding Gallagher brothers of Oasis would reunite to play it again. With Noel Gallagher playing with his High Flying Birds band as an opener for U2 on their recent UK stadium dates, the moving track was utilized for chance cover with grand results this past weekend.
Barns Courtney busted his foot at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Ā So he channeledĀ his “inner Dave Grohl” in order to take the stage in Los Angeles this past week. Ā As you can see from the slide show above, he rocked out — hospital gown, ambulance cot, and blonde nurse gliding around the stage. You can also check out concert footage below from RockNYC.
I knew I liked this guy from the moment we met. That’s pure style. Ā š Ā — [eric]
Green Day was taking some heat for performing a show in Madrid only moments after an acrobat died while performing between sets. Ā Turns out, the band went on with the show because they say…they weren’t even aware what happened. Ā Billie Joe Armstrong released an official statement on the band’s website today, saying in part:
“Many of you are wondering why we continued to play our show after the accident. Green Day did not hear about the accident until after our show was over. We didn’t even know there was an acrobat performance at all.”
Promoters of the Mad Cool Festival decided to go on with the show, reportedly citing “security reasons.” Ā Read more here from Rolling Stone. Ā — [eric]
