What’s The First Thing O.J. Simpson Will Eat When He Gets Out of Prison?

It’s a pretty safe bet that the food in prison isn’t too tasty. Even though Nevada’s Lovelock Correctional Center—where O.J. Simpson has been serving time for nearly nine years—is rumored to have better-than-average fare, the menu includes typical cafeteria staples like spaghetti, tacos, and lasagna.

So after so many years behind bars, Simpson will definitely have some food cravings he’ll want to satisfy once he’s a free man.

So what’s the first thing Simpson will eat when he’s released from prison in October? “The first thing he’ll do is eat sushi and probably a steak,” his former manager Norman Pardo told PEOPLE. “You can’t keep that guy away from sushi.”

Netflix is selling weed now

Netflix keeps people chilling on their couch, and now they really want to help with the chill part. No, not the sex part of ‘Netflix & Chill’ just the general idea of relaxing so weeed. Yes, Netflix is selling several strains of marijuana in a promotion for their upcoming Kath Bates series ‘Disjointed’ which sees the acclaimed actress playing a woman who fulfills her dream of opening a pot dispensary. Several other Netflix series will get the sticky icky treatment.

According to 411Mania, these are the other Netflix strains coming out through the Alternative Health Herbal Services in California. Prickly Muffin (Bojack Horseman), “when you smoke this, it gets a little easier. But you gotta do it every day”: Banana Stand Kush (Arrested Development); Vodkush (Chelsea); Peyotea 73 (Grace and Frankie), “an uplifting sativa hybrid”; “Sassafrass OG (Lady Dynamite), which has “the power of one thousand pug snorts”; Baka Bile (Santa Clarita Diet), “to really ramp up your appetite”; Poussey Riot (Orange is the New Black “for kicking it with somebody, talking, making mad stupid jokes”; and finally Moon 13 (Mystery Science Theater 3000, which is “not too strong, so you can ‘keep your sanity, no robot friends required.’

Netflix is not profiting from the sales, and they are purely for promotional purposes. I know a few smokers out there, that are likely not reading this article and just responding in the comments on social media, thinking they are just going to get pot delivered to them when they turn on ‘Orange is the New Black’.

Jared Leto pays tribute to Chester Bennington at MTV VMAs

Actor and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto paid tribute to Chester Bennington of Linkin Park last night during the MTV VMAs. Leto also remarked on the tragic loss of Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell and the friendship he shared with Bennington.

“Chester was my friend, as he was to so many, and witnessing his life taught me important things, especially about working relentlessly, pursuing dreams and being kind and caring while doing it. When I think about him, Chester, I see his face, which was always smiling. I think about his heart, which he wore on his sleeve. I think how kindly he treated me, my brother Tomo, our band. I think about his wife and his six, six incredible children. I think about his family. I think about his band, who were really his brothers, and I remember his voice, at once ferocious and delicate. That voice will live forever. If there’s anyone out there watching this who feel there is no hope, hear me out: You are not alone. Reach out. Share your thoughts. Do not give up.”

A Movie Theater that lets you bring your dog in?!

This Cinema Does Special Dog Screenings

This cinema does special dog screenings 🐶 📽

Posted by BuzzFeed UK on Monday, August 21, 2017

This movie theater in central London is offering Sunday morning screenings that welcome dogs…yes, the movies have gone to dogs. It looks adorable but if you think someone talking during the movie is bad, imagine what happens when you got a yorkie that is just barking through the best parts? I would love to have Dachshund chilling with me while I watch a great big screen movie.

Thirty Seconds to Mars Gives ‘Walk on Water’ Its Live Debut With Mind-Bending Performance at 2017 VMAs

Thirty Seconds to Mars have a new album on the way and performed its lead single for the first time last (Aug. 27) at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.

About an hour after frontman Jared Leto’s poignant tribute to Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell, he re-took the stage alongside his bandmates to bring “Walk on Water” to life for the first time. But this was no ordinary award show performance. During the pre-show interviews, Leto promised a riveting, first-of-its-kind show, and — for those watching at home, at least — his band did have a pretty bonkers concept in mind. READ MORE

The Top 10 List of Music Videos: Green Day

Tonight is the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.  Remember when videos were the only thing that made that channel go ’round?

So, it felt natural to feature alternative music videos today somehow.  Since it’s the 34th annual show, I thought maybe featuring 34 music videos?  But that’s a recipe for “too long, didn’t read.”  We could shrink that list to say, the top 10.  But we would be leaving out wayyyy too many.

So instead, let’s look at one bands contribution to telling a musical story through pictures.  Specifically, Green Day.

10 – Longview

This was the music video that put the band on the map.  A three-time nominee in 1994, one of the categories being “Artist To Watch.”  That’s a understatement now, looking back on thing, isn’t it?

 9 – American Idiot

In 2004, Green Day under took the task of creating a “punk rock opera” following the life of a adolescent anti-hero whose is conflicted between the emotions of rage and love.  The result?  “American Idiot,” which has since spawned a Broadway stage show.  The title track was as straight forward a performance video as possible — save for a little messy twist at the end.

8 – Walking Contradiction

Just a fun narrative, and most notably, directed by Roman Coppola.  He is the son of famed director Francis Ford Coppola and an accomplished Hollywood player on his own:  he co-wrote Wes Anderson heavyweights “The Darjeeing Limited” and “Moonrise Kingdom.”  Other music video credits include The Presidents Of The United States Of America (Lump), Fatboy Slim (Gangsta Trippin’), and The Strokes (Last Nite).

7 – Hitchin’ A Ride

Feels like we took a trip into prohibition era United States of America.  Of course, the distortion and volume was probably way beyond the 1920s would have liked.  But don’t worry — their grand kids are gonna love it.

6 – 21 Guns

You are looking at a three-time VMA winner.  Surviving a hail of gunfire whilst trying to pull off a bank robbery isn’t a bad trick, either.

5 – Brain Stew/Jaded

When this video debuted, it felt like Green Day had arrived.  The previous couple of video hits were fun, but lacked the polish that was put on this narrative-driven take.  The band was no longer “one to watch,” but rather the gold standard of alternative music of the time.  The video reflects this well.

4 – Jesus Of Suburbia

The release of American Idiot marked a significant point in the Green Day timeline.  The band had gotten serious about the long form narrative on the album, and their music videos reflected this shift.  This was the fifth and final single from the album.  It checked in at just under 10 minutes…plenty of time for director Samuel Bayer to parse out the story.  He was the one responsible for all the videos off this album, by the way.

3 – Boulevard Of Broken Dreams

The video has a great artist look, and that didn’t come by way of computer effects.  Samuel Bayer literally took razor blades, lit cigarettes, and hot coffee to the negative to achieve the effect.  It paid off:  it won six Moonman trophies (in 2017, now called the Moonperson).  This song is also the only one in history to win both a Grammy for Record Of The Year AND the VMA Video Of The Year.

2 – Wake Me Up When September Ends

So if the previous track was the biggest winner, why does Wake Me Up When September Ends trump it?  I remember being screened this video before it’s release.  This was not the goofy, fun Green Day that I had grown up with.  This is the video that made people take notice, and with it’s release directly in the middle of the Iraq war, it hit home for a lot of people.  It also features a couple of current Hollywood middleweights:  Jamie Bell and Evan Rachel Wood.

1 – Basket Case

If you were lucky enough to grow up towards the end of the MTV era that thrived on music videos, you no doubt turned on the TV in the afternoon looking for — and expecting this one.  It would be hard to argue against the importance of music videos as a second path of exposure towards making bands superstars.  This video help define who Green Day was, and as such, tops this list.

Man Tests ‘Unlimited Cloud Storage’ with 300 Years Of Porn

Unlimited storage.  It’s a continued marketing trends in media — but what exactly does “unlimited” look like?

One user of Reddit decided to put Amazon’s service to the test.  He used scripts to record and compile just under 2 petabytes of pornography in the cloud.

That must be a lot, considering I had to look up the definition of a petabyte (a million gigabytes, for the record).  In order to sit and view all that smut, the article from Vice estimated it would take a person about 293 years, 6 months to get through it all.  You read that right.  That’s 300 years of your life you couldn’t get back.

Coincidentally, Amazon discontinued the unlimited packages in June.  I wonder why that is?  — [eric]

Game of Thrones Season 7 Finale teasing something big (NO SPOILERS)

So maybe you are texting someone with an HBO GO password right now or organizing a watch party for it, but tonight is the Season 7 finale of ‘Game of Thrones’. The most talked about scripted TV show of our time is teasing something huge with the title of the episode getting the most speculation from the millions of fans of the fantasy drama series. The title “the Dragon and the Wolf” has stirred up fan theories that protagonist Jon Snow and dragon whisperer lady Daenerys Targarye may form some more defined bond in the episode, but nothing is for sure.

It’s also worth nothing that this will be the show’s longest episode clocking in at 79 minutes so that lends even more analysis to just what might happen.

Here is the official teaser from HBO.  Note this is NOT spoiler so debate away at what might happen.

If you are digging through the past few episodes to find out the details and connect the dots on who is making a play for the the throne on ‘Go’, well Watch Mojo has you covered.
