Tyson Ritter, longtime frontman of The All American Rejects and star of the film ‘Johnny & Clyde’, has recently spoken out about the behavior of Machine Gun Kelly while on-set while Ritter worked with Megan Fox. According to Ritter, “Colson, like, just goes from zero to, like, rage and [was] super angry. He was super bummed about me asking if I could put my fingers in Megan Fox’s mouth and I knew she was right there and he just went ballistic. He kind of went [into] maniac mode.”

We too could get a little freaked out if Tyson Ritter wanted to stick his fingers in our partner’s mouth. He is a handsome man. In fact, he and Megan Fox might make a better looking couple than her and MGK.
Neither MGK or Fox has commented on the situation.

Opposition to Orwelian-government monitoring has been assumed to be both overwhelming and obvious. But is it?
The Chicago Fire have a match with Inter Miami at Soldier Field on October 4 and now thanks to Miami landing one of the biggest stars in soccer history, it could be one of the biggest matches in Fire.
Mike Ness has been diagnosed with stage one tonsil cancer. He was diagnosed before Social Distortion went into the studio to record its eighth studio album. Summer tour plans have been postponed, but he is expected to make a full recovery.
We think that life is going to go according to our plan, but it has a way of saying “I don’t think so!”

Pete Davidson is back in the news, not for dating another woman way out of his league, but for acting like a guy from Long Island by leaving a heated voicemail for PETA after they dragged his name through the mud.
Pete Davidson leaves PETA an explicit voicemail after they blasted him for buying a dog from a pet store instead of adopting:
In the end, he is without a date to Miami and she is $70 richer. We clearly have two obnoxious people on our hands, but who is justified? The conversation lives on Facebook!
After the Las Vegas Golden Knights beat the Florida Panthers in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final, the local news desk sent it over to Samantha Rivera to give a recap of the game. Before the highlights, Rivera could be seen holding off a Knights fan attempting to get on camera.

Although it is not a dreaded speed cameras that are causing havoc over the city, Chicagoland finally has a small victory on the road. A DuPage County judge has ruled that the city violated a 2017 contingency by failing to submit post-installation reports.

Lululemon’s CEO has stood by his decision to axe two employees who called the police while three masked men robbed a Georgia store, citing the company’s “zero-tolerance policy” for intervening with a robbery as reason for firing the workers.
"The [employees] knowingly broke the policy, engaged with the thieves…that was what resulted in the termination."
123-year-old woman Theresa Nyirakajumba has recently made headlines over the fact that she’s over a century old and still hasn’t gotten any. Due to aspects of her culture growing up, Nyirakajumba struggled finding the right man. That struggle persisted for far too long, however. Now 123, she’s still hoping to find the right man.
She said in an interview, “My name is Theresa Nyirakajumba. I have never seen the nakedness of a man. For 123 years, I live with an unfulfilled desire, a deviant hope and a courageous spirit of waiting that one day a man will emerge and embrace my soul.”
Earlier this year, OK Go got involved in a lawsuit with Post Foods over the right to use the band’s (trademarked) name for a line of instant cereal cups named OK Go! Now, the parties have reached a “confidential settlement” and asked a Minnesota federal judge to dismiss the lawsuit permanently.
If you have ever been to a Q101 concert, event or lounge you have definitely seen Alexis;
she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, a super talented musician, one of our star promo peeps, lounge audio mixers and was the unfortunate victim of a porch fire that consumed her home in Bucktown including all of her possessions inside.
There is a GoFundMe set-up for her HERE and even more importantly, her cat Nala went missing and has not been seen since. The fire marshal said it’s unlikely she wasn’t able to escape so we are still hopeful that Nala is just lost and scared. Please take a look at the photo and pass along to anyone who may be in the Bucktown area:
18-year-old baseball star Cameron Robbins jumped off of a cruise ship on a dare, and now it appears the recent high school graduate may have been eaten by a shark in the water. Robbins was on a cruise ship celebrating his recent high school graduation when he was dared to leap into the water. As the video below shows, Robbins inexplicably swam away from the life preserver that was thrown into the water for him.
Now it seems that the reason he may have swam away from the ring because of an ominous shadow in the water.
The Chicago Bears are exploring more options for a suburban stadium following a tax hiccup in Arlington Heights that puts in jeopardy the deal to move into Arlington Park.
In a statement to NBC Chicago, the Bears said while they are still working on the Arlington Heights location, “it is no longer our singular focus.”
“The Chicago Bears goal of building the largest single development project in Illinois history led by billions of dollars in private capital investment, and the jobs and economic benefits generated, is at risk in Arlington Heights,” the team’s statement read. “The stadium-based project remains broadly popular in Arlington Heights, Chicagoland and the state. However, the property’s original assessment at five times the 2021 tax value, and the recent settlement with Churchill Downs for 2022 being three times higher, fails to reflect the property is not operational and not commercially viable in its current state. We will continue the ongoing demolition activity and work toward a path forward in Arlington Heights, but it is no longer our singular focus. It is our responsibility to listen to other municipalities in Chicagoland about potential locations that can deliver on this transformational opportunity for our fans, our club and the State of Illinois.”
A spokesperson for Naperville also confirmed Mayor Scott Wehrli reached out to the Bears in an effort to entice them to move to Naperville.

Foo Fighters: But Here We Are
Dave Grohl is once again in the forefront of our minds as the Foo Fighters are back with their eleventh studio album and first since the death of Taylor Hawkins with But Here We Are. Starting at 9:00AM, the top of every hour will feature one track from But Here We Are. We only get new Foo Fighters albums every so often, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.
lovelytheband: If We’re Being Honest
lovelytheband is back with If We’re Being Honest, which features stand out single “Sail Away”. This is the group’s third record and if it’s anything like the first two, we expect plenty of these songs to be stuck in our head going forward. They’ll be back in Chicago at the House of Blues on June 20.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds: Council Skies
One-half of the mighty forces behind Oasis, Noel Gallagher, is back with a fresh release from his High Flying Birds band. The 10-song album promises to be big and bittersweet, just like classic Oasis. Gallagher rolls into Northerly Island on June 27.

Tigercub: The Perfume of Decay
Tigercub is officially one of Q101’s “bands to watch”. Under the radar for far too long, this band has truly started to make an impact on everyone who comes across their work. The band’s third record, the aforementioned titled The Perfume of Decay, could easily be the band’s best work yet.
Wicca Phase Springs Eternal: S/T
Wicca Phase Springs Eternal is one of music’s must under appreciated minds. A fixture in emo stalwarts Tigers Jaw before pivoting to “emo rap”, the gothic wunderkind is once again reinventing himself with the release of his self-titled record. The lead single, “Moving Without Movement”, is somehow both deeply nostalgic and incredibly futuristic. We recommend spending some time with Wicca Phase this weekend.
Young the Giant: Both Sides
You know what we like? New Young the Giant music. The band is back with Both Sides, an EP full of songs that we can’t wait to devour.
