So there has been many people complaining about their dissatisfaction over the Game of Thrones finale, so instead of just roasting it with obvious jokes Conan O’Brien’s team spun it into a very funny sketch out of general discontent. Yeah, you think it’s going one way and then it’s all about Mark Wahlberg and a cheeseburgers.
Here is how other late night shows riffed on the GoT finale.
We love our dogs. I prefer to refer to them as ‘doggy dogs’ especially if said pup is extra cute. And as we get more into the extra perks of anything in life from getting VIP tickets to concerts or upgrading travel, these big trends are moving to also include ‘man’s best friend’. Enter K-9 Cinemas in Plano, Texas. The movie theater is offering $15 tickets which seem a bit pricey but you get bottomless wine and YOUR DOG gets to see the movie with you.
According to UPI, theater-goers must following specific rules for their pets which include having to clean up after your pet, keeping them on a leash, providing paperwork proving that the dog is up to date on their shots and that each guest can only bring up to two dogs.
So can we get one of these in Chicago now?
Garbage stopped by and gave a fantastic interview along with their performance in The Lounge! Check out the gallery!

Well, if you did not like the GoT finale at least you can laugh at this.
The mythical world of Game of Thrones wrapped up this past Sunday. and you obviously heard a lot about it, but did you catch something that reminded you it’s still just a show? Keen eyed viewers have found the latest meme-rific moment from the finale when they caught a plastic water bottle in a scene. Yeah, pretty sure if plastic was a thing in Westeros it might changed things.
This follows up another mistake caught on film in a previous episode in this most recent season when a white paper coffee cup was caught in a scene. The white cup was actually edited out of later airings of that specific episode.
Of course, it was just another thing that had people talking coming out of the massive TV event.
Meet and greet photos with Garbage from The Lounge are here!

Check out the new Lumineers video for “Gloria.”
As lead singer Wesley Schultz explains, “Gloria is an addict. Her character was inspired by a member of my family, and no amount of love or resources could save her. She’s now been homeless for over a year. Loving an addict is like standing among the crashing waves, trying to bend the will of the sea.”
As The Ringer notes — everything in pop culture comes back around again. So as Sublime becomes all trés-chic again, it’s no surprise that Lana Del Rey put her stamp on their song “Doin’ Time.” — [eric]
Tonight is it for the HBO series Game Of Thrones. But before you watch the series finale, watch THIS.
PIQNIQ artist Tom Morello recently ripped through a guitar cover of the theme song for Game Of Thrones as part of an interesting group — country star Brad Paisley, Anthrax’s Scott Ian, and the guy responsible for an entire generation’s first middle school slow dance — Nuno Bettencourt of “More Than Words” and Extreme fame. They join the show’s music composer Ramin Djawadi and show creator Dan Weiss. — [eric]

Hard to believe it has been two years since we lost Chris Cornell. The Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman took his own life shortly after a show in Detroit — May 18th, 2017. Today, the music industry is remembering the amazing footprint that Chris left on the world. — [eric]
Kerrang! has a profile with Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, who recognized the unique voice he brought to the table: “He knew what he could do, we all did,” he continues. “But he liked to pursue the areas he wasn’t as strong at too. He was more inclined to take that challenge with his instrument. There was a point when people started saying, ‘He’s a great singer – perhaps the greatest singer in rock,’ and that’s when he began to really focus on being as good a singer as he could be, so he could be even better.”
Speaking of that voice, JamBase reminds us of his vocal power — not just by volume and timbre, but through his instrument’s pure emotion — with a playback of just his vocals isolated on “Black Hole Sun.”
You can revisit Chris Cornell’s appearance at WKQX back in 2015 when he sat down with Lauren O’Neil in Studio 7:
2 yrs.ago today, my life was forever altered when I lost my friend Chris Cornell. We shared many moments together over the years-from all we did on TV+radio-and there 4 each other in good+bad times. That day we lost a beautiful soul+one of the greatest singers of all time pic.twitter.com/lf0Jif6CRp
