‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ will have lots of monsters fighting

Every time a giant blockbuster movie built around a large enormous larger-than-life character is set to come out, there is always that natural trepidation from movie goers. Are we going to see enough of the robots in the robot movie? Will the ghost flick have a small or spooky ghost footage or will we get satisfying dose of the selling point for the film?

Well with next week’s ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ it looks like you are going to get a lot of ‘the KIng’. This latest teaser trailer seems indicate there will be a solid serving of city-destroying thermo-nuclear breath blasting action from the Japanese creature feature icon in this sequel to 2014’s ‘Godzilla’ from Warner Bros.

For fans of the long-running ‘kaiju’ series rebooted with big budget flair, you will get see ‘Zilla tangle with fellow big baddies like KIng Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan.

The film hits theaters and IMAX on May 31st.

As for the soundtrack, System of a Down’s Serj Tabnkian collaborated with Bear McCreary on an epic rendition of 70’s rock titans Blue Oyster Cult’s ode to the monster.
