Sunday is the 18th annual Bike The Drive, which they claim is Chicago’s official start to Summer. I’m into it!
Lake Shore Drive will be closed to car traffic for 5 hours starting at 5:30 am. Route, closures, and more info HERE.
Proceeds benefit Active Transportation Alliance’s work to improve biking, walking, and transit throughout Chicagoland.
You could bike the entire stretch, which is 30 miles, just know only you can prevent chaffing XD

Eliot Curtis, the Broadcast Operations Manager for KPIX Television, offered to repair a vintage synthesizer owned by the music department at Cal State University East Bay. There appeared to be a crusty residue underneath a knob, so he got some cleaning solution out and used his finger to try to remove it. Fast forward 45 minutes, and he was starting to feel weird.
Turns out, it was the beginning of a 9 hour LSD trip.
An LSD expert (who knew there was such a thing?) tested and confirmed that the substance was indeed Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, aka LSD. He also told KPIX “that one can ingest the chemical through the skin under the right conditions”.
After coming down, he finished repairing the vintage synthesizer…but wearing gloves this time.

Nick and Joe of the long-running Found Footage Festival have made a career out of diving into the odd, the corny and the unknowingly bad parts of the VHS era of entertainment whether it be tapes people send into them on their weekly ‘VCR Party’ live streams or their touring show but in 2007 they kicked it up a notch. For an article that would eventually run in Entertainment Weekly, the Wisconsin video adventurers watched the entire original run of 90’s family sitcom ‘Full House’ in one sitting. They endured every cliche dad joke, every catchphrase from the Olsen twins, and awkward cameos from the Beach Boys. This video diary shows how they survived the entire harrowing ordeal.
They did this for 3 1/2 days?! They deserve some type of medal or award for this. Maybe they can be honorary members of Uncle Jesse and the Rippers?
How many times can you endure John Stamos saying “Have Mercy”?
In case you weren’t aware, Brian, Ali, and Justin went on vacation this week!
But not before playing a few games on the Dare wheel.
Here’s a compilation of the videos we’ve posted throughout the week:

In a recent tweet from Netflix’s NX account, it’s revealed that the third season for Jessica Jones will launch this June. However, the exact day hasn’t been divulged. There is a “Coming Soon” in lieu of the release date.
Between Batman Begins, Dark Knight, and Equilibrium, June is a very good month to be a Christian Bale fan. (And who isn’t?) pic.twitter.com/TgeaOOA5Fc

This is the final season, as Netflix cancelled it earlier this year.

It got roasted online after we saw glimpses of Will Smith as it’s blue genie, but will the live action adaption of Disney’s animated classic Aladdin deliver? Will the grown up kids who belted out a ‘A Whole New World’ since the original animated film in 1992, get what they want out of this musical? Watch these respected Youtube channels review the film.
So Hugh Jackman laid down his claws and will no longer play the iconic role of Wolverine after the classic ‘Logan’ film, sowho should take on adamantium mantle? Well apparently some fans think Disney which oversees a majority of Marvel characters in film and television, should go with ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia ‘ star Danny Devito, Yes, that Danny Devito.
A petition called “Have Danny Devito play the rebooted Wolverine in the MCU” was started online for the short actor to play the X-Men hero with over 21, 000 signatures when we last checked.
This is another sign of the meme dream power that Devito seems to provoke, as we reported last year on the hidden shrine built inside a secret part of a college. You can see that here.
Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim, Sons of Anarchy) is reportedly had meetings to possibly play the next Wolverine.

Moby recently released a new book, and in it claims he and Natalie Portman had a brief romantic relationship when he was 33 and she was 20. He says that when they met, she was “in my dressing room, flirting with me.” He then alleges that he was going to tell her that, due to his anxiety, he couldn’t be in a “real relationship” with her. Alas, she called to inform him she had met someone else, and he was relieved he didn’t “have to tell her how damaged” he was.
Portman recalls a very different side of the story in a recent Harper’s Bazaar interview…
“I was surprised to hear that he characterised the very short time that I knew him as dating because my recollection is a much older man being creepy with me when I just had graduated high school,” Portman told us. “He said I was 20; I definitely wasn’t. I was a teenager. I had just turned 18. There was no fact checking from him or his publisher – it almost feels deliberate. That he used this story to sell his book was very disturbing to me. It wasn’t the case. There are many factual errors and inventions. I would have liked him or his publisher to reach out to fact check.”
“I was a fan and went to one of his shows when I had just graduated,” she said. “When we met after the show, he said, ‘let’s be friends’. He was on tour and I was working, shooting a film, so we only hung out a handful of times before I realised that this was an older man who was interested in me in a way that felt inappropriate.”
Yikes. See more about the dispute on this Twitter moment.

Graduations tend to be fulfilling ceremonies where students become certified for gaining the knowledge to become productive members of society, or they can be complete dorks who attempt a botched back flips in their cap and gown.
Do you know someone who thinks they need to someone make their graduation stand out with risky behavior like this? Well, share this page with them.
With the Scripps National Spelling Bee one week away, some linguists worked with Merriam-Webster to find out the most difficult words from the competition over the last 10 years.
Classic languages caused the most trouble for spelling bee contestants. Words with Greek and Latin roots tripped up students the most. French, German and Italian-based words also were problematic.
Here are some for you to play with – Bondieuserie [bohn-dyooz-ree], Schefflera [SCHEF-luh-ra] and Cipollino [chip-oh-LEE-no].
The Scripps National Spelling Bee starts Thursday, May 30th on ESPN 2.
