This little boy took over his group’s rendition of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’, except it had a bit of a Star Wars remix to it.
Seems like he must have confused the song with the ‘Imperial March’. Simple mistake!

Some have said it’s addictive, while others have said it’s simply a fun way to pass the time, but now health officials are declaring that there is indeed an addiction to video games.
The World Health Organization added video game addiction to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), making it officially a health issue in the eyes of many. The official term for it is “Gaming Disorder” and it has been a decisive issue within the gaming world with many feeling like it’s an attack on the genre.
This video from Australia’s ABC breaks down the science behind gaming addiction.

For a complicated reason that Pitchfork will dive into for you, The Rolling Stones used to get 100% of the songwriting royalties every time The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” played. Not any more.
After all these years, Keith and Mick reversed course and decided to give that right to Richard Ashcroft, the songwriter and lead singer of the band. 💰💰💰
On a related note: this is either the best or worst cover of “Bittersweet Symphony” ever made. Compare it to the original music video and decide for yourself. My head hurts and I can’t do it. — [eric]
You may have seen that the cardigan worn by Kurt Cobain during his last professional photo shoot — fetched right around $75,000 at auction last week.
What you may not have seen? A pizza plate that Kurt ate off of went for just under $23,000.
Now to be fair — it was a pizza plate that Kurt ate off of, flipped over, and wrote out the set list for a 1990 Nirvana show at the famed 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. So, not just a food delivery device. But still — that’s crazy. Not quite as crazy as these other celebrity items sold at auction. — [eric]

Every time a giant blockbuster movie built around a large enormous larger-than-life character is set to come out, there is always that natural trepidation from movie goers. Are we going to see enough of the robots in the robot movie? Will the ghost flick have a small or spooky ghost footage or will we get satisfying dose of the selling point for the film?
Well with next week’s ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ it looks like you are going to get a lot of ‘the KIng’. This latest teaser trailer seems indicate there will be a solid serving of city-destroying thermo-nuclear breath blasting action from the Japanese creature feature icon in this sequel to 2014’s ‘Godzilla’ from Warner Bros.
For fans of the long-running ‘kaiju’ series rebooted with big budget flair, you will get see ‘Zilla tangle with fellow big baddies like KIng Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan.
The film hits theaters and IMAX on May 31st.
As for the soundtrack, System of a Down’s Serj Tabnkian collaborated with Bear McCreary on an epic rendition of 70’s rock titans Blue Oyster Cult’s ode to the monster.
The ultimate tease for Chicago, in three Tweets — thanks to a recent Mark Hoppus takeover of the official Blink-182 account (@blink182).
First, the ask — totally of a generalized nature and not leading at all:
Is there a chance you’re going to play another or the same album in full at an upcoming show that may or may not have been announced yet?
— Malort Mami (@bad_idea_mia) May 24, 2019
Second, the reply — VERY specific to get our hopes up:
it’s possible that we might play enema of the state in its entirety just for fun at some shows this summer. maybe. pic.twitter.com/YXVGAwC1Q6
— blink-182 (@blink182) May 24, 2019
And finally, the big ask for Chicago:
Riot fest 😎

Nice work, Malort Mami. The city owes you big time if “Enema Of The State” happens this fall in Douglas Park. — [eric]

Who needs a big budget Disney reboot of Aladdin when you can get a direct-to-TV or DVD knock off? Yeah, who needs Transformers when you get Transmorphers! Asylum Studios who rolled out the B-movie junk food series Sharknado, is doing that again with an Aladdin mockbuster. Vice documented the whole process of making a knock-off adventure film in 7 days. Beware some naughty words in this video.

Sunday is the 18th annual Bike The Drive, which they claim is Chicago’s official start to Summer. I’m into it!
Lake Shore Drive will be closed to car traffic for 5 hours starting at 5:30 am. Route, closures, and more info HERE.
Proceeds benefit Active Transportation Alliance’s work to improve biking, walking, and transit throughout Chicagoland.
You could bike the entire stretch, which is 30 miles, just know only you can prevent chaffing XD

Eliot Curtis, the Broadcast Operations Manager for KPIX Television, offered to repair a vintage synthesizer owned by the music department at Cal State University East Bay. There appeared to be a crusty residue underneath a knob, so he got some cleaning solution out and used his finger to try to remove it. Fast forward 45 minutes, and he was starting to feel weird.
Turns out, it was the beginning of a 9 hour LSD trip.
An LSD expert (who knew there was such a thing?) tested and confirmed that the substance was indeed Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, aka LSD. He also told KPIX “that one can ingest the chemical through the skin under the right conditions”.
After coming down, he finished repairing the vintage synthesizer…but wearing gloves this time.

Nick and Joe of the long-running Found Footage Festival have made a career out of diving into the odd, the corny and the unknowingly bad parts of the VHS era of entertainment whether it be tapes people send into them on their weekly ‘VCR Party’ live streams or their touring show but in 2007 they kicked it up a notch. For an article that would eventually run in Entertainment Weekly, the Wisconsin video adventurers watched the entire original run of 90’s family sitcom ‘Full House’ in one sitting. They endured every cliche dad joke, every catchphrase from the Olsen twins, and awkward cameos from the Beach Boys. This video diary shows how they survived the entire harrowing ordeal.
They did this for 3 1/2 days?! They deserve some type of medal or award for this. Maybe they can be honorary members of Uncle Jesse and the Rippers?
How many times can you endure John Stamos saying “Have Mercy”?
In case you weren’t aware, Brian, Ali, and Justin went on vacation this week!
But not before playing a few games on the Dare wheel.
Here’s a compilation of the videos we’ve posted throughout the week:

In a recent tweet from Netflix’s NX account, it’s revealed that the third season for Jessica Jones will launch this June. However, the exact day hasn’t been divulged. There is a “Coming Soon” in lieu of the release date.
Between Batman Begins, Dark Knight, and Equilibrium, June is a very good month to be a Christian Bale fan. (And who isn’t?) pic.twitter.com/TgeaOOA5Fc

This is the final season, as Netflix cancelled it earlier this year.

It got roasted online after we saw glimpses of Will Smith as it’s blue genie, but will the live action adaption of Disney’s animated classic Aladdin deliver? Will the grown up kids who belted out a ‘A Whole New World’ since the original animated film in 1992, get what they want out of this musical? Watch these respected Youtube channels review the film.
So Hugh Jackman laid down his claws and will no longer play the iconic role of Wolverine after the classic ‘Logan’ film, sowho should take on adamantium mantle? Well apparently some fans think Disney which oversees a majority of Marvel characters in film and television, should go with ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia ‘ star Danny Devito, Yes, that Danny Devito.
A petition called “Have Danny Devito play the rebooted Wolverine in the MCU” was started online for the short actor to play the X-Men hero with over 21, 000 signatures when we last checked.
This is another sign of the meme dream power that Devito seems to provoke, as we reported last year on the hidden shrine built inside a secret part of a college. You can see that here.
Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim, Sons of Anarchy) is reportedly had meetings to possibly play the next Wolverine.
