Jimmy Eat World’s drummer is beefing with Phillies fans
Within the Q101 universe, you can either side with Brian and the Phillies, or Jimmy Eat World, our Arizona-based friends, and the Diamondbacks. Drummer Zach Lind went at it with Phillies fans in the midst of their Game 2 slaughtering.
The Philly faithful did not take kindly to Lind’s comments. This caused a back-and-forth between the drummer and some passionate fans.
He also traded fire with Brewers fans.
And finally, he beefed with Giants fans.

“Bathroom dispute” leads to vicious fist fight at Bears game
An altercation at this past weekend’s Bears game has gone viral for its viciousness and brutality. According to witnesses on the scene, the groups began throwing hands over a “bathroom dispute”, whatever that means.
Multiple participants were taken to the hospital and treated for injuries, where they later stabilized.
Foo Fighters will return to SNL on 10/28
Foo Fighters were scheduled to be the musical guests on SNL back in May for the Season 48 finale, but the show was postponed due to the WGA strike. It will be Dave’s 16th time overall on the show: two appearances with Nirvana, one with Them Crooked Vultures, one with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and three as a special guest.

‘Kool-Aid man’ challenge resurfaces in Northwest Indiana, terrorizes suburbs
Northwest Indiana is under attack. Four juveniles were taken into custody over the weekend after crashing through fences in an effort to reenact vintage ‘Kool-Aid man’ commercials.
It’s a trend that cooled off for a while, but has once again picked up steam in the Chicagoland area.
The news report shows teens crashing through walls in what has to be the funniest way to ever destroy property.

Cubs employee hospitalized, hazmat response near Wrigley Field
A member of the Chicago Cubs security staff went to the hospital Tuesday after coming into contact with a substance in a piece of mail. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon near Wrigley Field. The employee was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital by ambulance after coming into contact with what police called a “skin irritant.”
A hazmat team arrived at the scene alongside a bomb unit. The Chicago Fire Department, the Postal Inspection Service and the FBI also responded to the scene.
Texas Rangers credit blasting Creed before games to postseason success
The Texas Rangers are on fire right now. They blew past the Tampa Bay Rays in two games and are now one win away from sweeping the Baltimore Orioles in the American League Divisional Series. The team has suffered major injuries this year and has dealt with a subpar bullpen, but they’re rapidly approaching the American League pennant. Why are they so successful despite what should be obvious setbacks?

Pitcher Andrew Heaney began blasting the iconic rock band in the locker room during the second half of the season as a way to inspire the team. Rangers play-by-play announcer Jared Sandler explained, “Andrew Heaney just shared that as the team was going through the rollercoaster of the second half, they started having fun and playing Creed before games. He said that if Creed was played at GLF [Globe Life Field] on Tuesday or Wednesday and fans started belting out the song, it would fire them up!”
