Fortnite is easily one of the most popular free-to-play video games. Apple’s iPhone with the associated marketplace is easily one of the biggest combinations of devices and online stores. This week the two sides clashed, with Apple yanking Fortnite off the Apple store when Epic Games, the company behind the game offered direct payments the in-game currency, ‘v-bucks’. These direct payments are noticeably cheaper for users and work around Apple. Google the same move by Apple, and booted Fortnite off its Play store. Epic Games then responded by suing both Apple and Google. In the video above, Internet Today broke down the entire dispute in detail and how the gaming world is responding.
Epic started the hashtag #FreeFortnite campaign and released this short parody video which mocks the classic 1984 ad that Apple made for the release of its home PC, the Macintosh which challenged the market-dominance of IBM at the time.
So how do we continue to make entertainment on a grand scale when we are dealing with a worldwide respiratory pandemic?
That’s been a lingering question that has hit Hollywood as the studios behind major TV and film productions work with unions in California on how to move forward, but some big blockbuster has returned to production overseas. ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ resumed production in England under some very advanced protocols that have completely reorganized everyone from the cast and the crew working on the big-budget movie for Universal. Just to start, the cast is tested three times a week with a doctor on-set full time with three nurses doing temperature checks. The crew that does not interact with the cast wears protective equipment.
“If production of this magnitude can successfully manage through the uncertainties of filming amid a pandemic, and keep people working and the production pipeline moving, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for film shoots of all sizes to create safe and sustainable environments,” said Donna Langley, the head of Universal’s Filmed Entertainment division.
This is not the only movie to get back to it, as several other films are in the works overseas like the Avatar sequels, the ‘Uncharted’ adaption, and Marvel’s Shang-Chi.
Watch our recent interview with Brendon Flowers where he talks his life in quarantine and more
The lyrics talk about the internalized anxiety about the future of the relationship and how we can weather the trials of life ahead. It has those emotional touchstones that Brendon Flowers has gracefully produced in the past, but with our current world these lyrics may take on new meaning. With thumping bass line that gets your head-bobbing on the first listen, this song could get its teeth into you quickly. The song breaks out in this very Bruce Springsteen vibe at a point that catches you off guard in a great way.

At the corner of Ohio and Clark for 23 years, Rainforest Cafe has been a tourist trap of giant molded plastic animals luring in families with a gift shop that has a restaurant behind it but those days are gone, as this week came the news that it’s closing. Block Club Chicago published this detailed report yesterday about how the pandemic helped speed up the closure plans that had been in the works for some time. You can also see on-site pictures of the store’s signs being dismantled in the article.
In the video above, Innovision 3D breaks down how the chain restaurant has faded off from it’s trendy highs in the 90s. The video also digs deep into the concept of theme restaurants goes back to the 1800’s. Yeah, it was a thing way before Planet Hollywood.
Here is another video from Erik Nicholas showing off what the Rainforest Cafe in Chicago looked like with all of it’s animal decorations.
Neven Ciganovic, a blogger and TV personality from Zagreb, Croatia, underwent rhinoplasty surgery in Iran in 2017 because he has this weird goal of looking like a Bratz doll.
I mean check the guy out, seems perfectly normal.
Well, the nose job in Iran went wrong and left the personality with an erection that lasted 3 MONTHS!
Doctors tried to correct the issue by draining the blood out of his penis. Guess what though… DIDN’T WORK!!!
So now I guess he can at least go for some sort of world record. I mean he has to have beaten it by now right!?!
