You can always tell who the bad kids are.
Theres just something about them…
Ok, this kid actually rules. I can admit it.
So there is some bad news.
Of all the videos on YouTube, every single one of them, this is the most viewed of all time.
Over seven billion views.
This is so wrong. I can’t get it out of my head!
This cat is no longer an only child and it is not too happy about it.

I’m sure they’ll warm up to each other!
Remember last weeks Karen who didn’t want your lame tick-or-treat candy? Well she’s posted again!
Turns out things did not go so smoothly on Halloween in her neighborhood…
Evanston! Are you better than this?
Share this post so our Karen can see!!!
The latest Smashing Pumpkins album ‘CYR’ drops on November 27th and we’ve already gotten a solid taste of the 33-song collection with the album title track and several animated music videos but this weekend we got two new tracks from the band. They are both quite different but see the band doing something quite fresh yet still invigorating to longtime fans of the Chicago alternative icons.
‘Wyttch’ is a perfect track for your post-Halloween desires for the creepy and scary side of life. The swerving beat, the thumping bass, and Billy almost casting a spell with the lyrics. It has a very epic feel to get your head bobbing up and down. This could be a really great song to see live with the loud chants and thundering guitar parts.
‘Ramona’ this track sees the Pumpkins embraced the new wavey keyboard-driven synth-pop that they have utilized in the past. It feels like a song we could hear on a Muse album, am I right?! The story of this ‘Ramona’ character also stirs up reminders of the classic Tarantino ‘Kill Bill’ movies minus the sword fights. In a statement issued to the press, the video has a “surreal gothic-western inspired love-story.”
You know our favorite weekend hobby. It’s perusing the Chicago Police Department’s scanner of course!!!
This weekend we had a lot of ~spooky~ police calls going out.
Here’s what we heard:
Saturday 1:56 PM – Grant park – Male mid 50’s dressed as a clown disturbing the peace in the park. Reports of him using a magnifying glass to kill bugs.
Saturday 7:43PM – State/Lake – Group of people dressed as telatubbies reportedly racing wheel chairs down state street.
Saturday 10:12 PM – 834 Victoria Drive in Montgomery – There’s a 7 year old reporting that his parents stole his Halloween candy and are smoking marijuana. He’s upset they made him go to bed. He’s requesting we send an officer to the residence to throw his parents in jail for theft.
Saturday 10:48 PM – 1140 Lasalle in the city – Someone is puking off their balcony and it’s hitting people below. Victim is very upset and is threatening to climb the building in his spider man costume. Officers in route.
Saturday 11:03 PM – 1724 165th street – Hammond Indiana – Woman dressed as a lady bug in Food 4 Less putting olives on her fingertips and is reportedly forcefully making people eat them off her hands. Security has her detained in the front of store.
This has to be just a punch to the gut for this father.
@humanbrightsideShe says, “I love you dad.” He says he loves her back, but she wasn’t finished with her first statement. She adds, “not as much as mommy.” (Via – 89X)
I mean at least she still loves hime right!
Everyones favorite sketch comedy show is on Netflix right now!
Every episode of the Chappelle Show is up for your streaming pleasure.
What are you doing! Go watch! Go right now!
Kim K really went all out this Halloween by turning her entire house into a giant spider inside and out!
That is so spooky!
I can’t even imagine how long that took to clean up though…
Dine and dashing gives you such bad karma that the floor literally opens up from under you!
Or sometimes the ceiling…
This dine and dasher just dropped!⬇️ Trying to skip out on the restaurant bill, she crawled above the kitchen cieling from the washroom. Luckily she wasn’t hurt when she fell through the cieling tiles and landed right in front of our #BurnabyFrontline officers! #Gravity #Foundyou pic.twitter.com/eJYC1jIod3

You know she couldn’t have been to sly about it if she literally fell into the cop’s lap!
Would you be able to take anything this health official says seriously?
Who says doctors don’t have fun!
That clown makeup is still terrifying though…
The Strokes are rock royalty in New York City, so it made sense to have them on another Big Apple institution, Saturday Night Live on NBC. With their latest album ‘The New Abormal’ still pumping blood in our collective alt-music hearts and no live shows for the near future, why not dig into these live performances?
This week’s SNL was hosted by loveable comedy gem John Mulaney who delivered laughter about everything going on and a very NSFW Halloween themed sketch involving the Headless Horseman. Get a full review of the episode here.
Next week’s episode will be hosted by Dave Chapelle, who also hosted the first post-election episode of SNL in 2016.

AJR’s song “Bang!” is now also a hot sauce.
“Bang!” is a condiment that is uniquely New York (say that 10x fast!). I say that because it is made from a medley of peppers from over 30 community gardens throughout the Bronx and Queens. Those same gardens are the beneficiary of sales, too, because sales will go to direct support those local growers. Awesome.

Tomorrow your Halloween candy hangover can be weened off with the anticipated ‘Treehouse of Horror’ special from ‘the Simpsons’ on FOX. These creepy episodes have been must-watch TV every October since the show debuted as a regular series in 1990. This year’s edition will see Simpsons take a spin away from their standard drawn animation feel to a slightly-off CGI that they have experimented with several times in the past but this time it will be a nod to the first breakout computer-created cartoon, Toy Story. Watch the trailer for Treehouse XXXI above.
Watch Mojo did a great job counting down the best Treehouse of Horror segments from the annual spooktacular specials. Consequence of Sound went even deeper into the grave, ranking every Halloween episode, read that here.
The OG movie James Bond, Sean Connery, died at the age of 90.
The Scottish-born actor will forever be most associated for his work in the 1960s as James Bond in classics like Goldfinger, Dr. No and From Russia With Love.
Of course, Chicagoans have a soft spot for Connery for his performance in the 1987 release “The Untouchables.”
Connery won an Oscar and three Golden Globes for his work in film.
Not for nothing, People Magazine named Sean Connery the “Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999.

During its 28 episode run ‘Chapelle Show’ became one of the biggest hits in comedy in the early 2000’s and launching Dave Chapelle to the top of the entertainment mountain. It was one of those shows that everyone had to have on DVD back when people got DVDs but with streaming video changing where can you catch your fill of Chapelle’s great sketches like his memorable behind-the-scenes stories on Rick James and more? Netflix will be streaming the show starting on November 1st.
That is not the only place you can stream Chapelle and other Comedy Central greats. Consequence of Sound reported this week that ‘Chapelle Show’, ‘Nathan For You’ and ‘Reno 911’ and ‘Key & Peele’ will be available on HBO Max on Sunday as well.
Chapelle returned to stand up comedy in 2015 with the Oddball Comedy Fest tour, and if you were one of the lucky 20,000 plus when saw his return in Tinley Park at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater then you know he was back to rule the world. Since then his Netflix specials have been appointment viewing, and now we are all going to hear a lot more friends yell ‘WHAT!?’ in conversations the next few weeks
Someone made a fake movie trailer for the year 2020 that covers all the craziness we’ve gone through this year. And no, it’s NOT a comedy. It’s more like an epic drama, political thriller, disaster, horror movie all rolled into one.

We might have the most rats, but at least we don’t have random 15 foot rat holes in Chicago!
A man waiting for the bus on the sidewalk in the Bronx fell into a random sinkhole full of RATS that opened up underneath him https://t.co/1OIQTgpVYH

I wonder if Chance the Ratter was in that rat party?
Watch where you step people!
