National news reporters saying swear words on live television.

Like the really bad ones.

It never gets old!

Honest reaction though. Hope the guy got off with a warning at the most!

Watch Foo Fighters new ‘Shame Shame’ video, Streaming conert this week

The Foo Fighters are building to the February 5th release of their tenth album ‘Medicine At Midnight’ with a new visually-striking video for the fresh song ‘Shame Shame’. The video filmed in black and white, features singer Dave Grohl being haunted by the creeptacular dancing of actress Sofia Boutella who lurches around him and on him like a ghost you can’t shake, and then Grohl digs his own grave. He does not use a shovel, but his guitar! Throw in lightning hitting a casket and bursting it into flames. There is just a lot going on here. The video is inspired by a reoccurring dream that Grohl has had since he was a child.

The Foos will perform a streaming concert from the famed Roxy in Los Angeles on Friday, November 13th according to Consequence of Sound. The show will air at 7pm CST. Tickets are $15, and if you buy it, you will have the stream for 48 hours after the concert begins. Get your ticket here.

Here is Grohl talking about the fun the band had recording ‘Medicine At Midnight’ with creative isolation in a house. It’s worth noting that the album was recorded before the pandemic started.

Since the 1920’s, the Hardy Boys have been youthful detectives solving puzzling mysteries in novels, comic books, and TV shows. The latest adaption for a series on Hulu weaves in the brother’s mother passing on and a move to Bridgeport, Connecticut with a group of friends help solve the case. The look and feel remind us a bit of ‘Stranger Things’ on Netflix with a throwback to maybe the 70’s or 80’s and just like that show, it sees young adults on the adventure. The 13 episode series debuts on December 4th.

The 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees were honored with a special 130-minute tribute that aired Saturday night on HBO.

Dave Grohl opened the virtual show: “The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It’s not just a place, it’s an idea. It holds the stories, the images, the sights and the sounds of decades and decades of music. The story of rock ‘n’ roll is really many stories. It’s the story of pain and beauty. The story of rebellion and unit.”

Saturday 9:40pm – 2200 Western Ave Park Forest – Someone threw a raccoon inside a Prius at the Citgo. Owner now wants to take it home as a “rescue”. Send animal control to tell this woman you can just let it go and it’ll be fine

Man marries himself after heartbreak

A Brazilian man was supposed to marry the love of his life, or so he thought, in October.

Turns out that they could not stand each other, so they called it quits. But instead of canceling a perfectly good wedding, this guy decided to marry himself!

A descrição dessa cena também me marcou. Porque essa frase que você disse, Diogo, foi citado num livro e filme que descrevem uma jornada solitária de um jovem em busca do auto- conhecimento. Ao se lançar no mundo, abandonando tudo pra entender o que seria de fato essencial ao ser humano, a conclusão que aquele jovem chega é essa: “A felicidade só é real quando compartilhada”. Sozinhos somos muito menos do que podemos ser. Precisamos das pessoas certas do nosso lado. E as pessoas certas não são aquelas que nos completam, a nossa outra metade. As pessoas certas são aquelas que nos amam tanto que nos permitem que nós nos amemos. Ao nosso lado, faz bem aquela pessoa saudável. Que sabe se cuidar, que se conhece, que não despeja em nós suas frustações, suas expectativas. É isso que estamos celebrando hoje: O seu amor-próprio. Seu caminho e aprendizado até aqui. Seu encontro consigo mesmo. Hoje vamos celebrar como todo casamento deveria começar: pela promessa de amar, cuidar e respeitar a si próprio”

A mim, Eu acredito que tudo seja vaidade. Tudo é efêmero e só o desconhecido, que procuro conhecer, me traz a paz em saber que Ele é eterno, Deus. E o que me liga a Deus se não a manifestação do amor? Por isso eu me desapego para ir ao encontro do criador. Eu me desapego de uma ilusão de felicidade, onde 1 + 1 = 1. Eu me desapego da ostentação, eu me desapego do orgulho e eu me entrego à humildade. Eu tenho a mim o que Nietzche afirma sobre “alegria trágica”, como aquele que celebra a vida porque ela é frágil, finita e sem sentido, ou seja, ser feliz, perdoar, acreditar, amar é uma escolha, e a nossa vida é feita de nossas escolhas, simples. Mas, Diogo, se a vida é sem sentido, qual seria o sentido disso tudo? Viver é perder-se. É preciso ter coragem para descobrir seu sentido. É preciso beber da vida para saber seu gosto. É preciso entregar as fichas para alguém e ser traído para saber o valor das suas fichas. A gente cresce na experiência, e quando me perguntares por que tatuei “pain” em meu braço, é para lembrar de que a evolução, infelizmente, vem com dor e choro. Chega um momento em nossa vida que para continuarmos é necessário largar nossos hábitos, vícios, lembranças e traumas para poder seguir adiante. E este ato simbólico de casar comigo mesmo é o meu ponto mais alto de expressão ao meu amor próprio. Eu aprendi que tenho o meu valor e que eu não preciso ser amado por ninguém para me sentir bem. E vou além: eu não preciso mudar minha personalidade ou o meu jeitinho de ser para que alguém possa ficar comigo. Eu descobri o meu valor e eu amo quem eu sou, eu amo a minha história, de onde eu vim, pelo o que passei, e tenho foco aonde eu quero chegar. E para finalizar, eu afirmo o meu maior desejo: que eu nunca deixe de acreditar no amor. Que eu perca a razão, que eu perca a cabeça, mas que eu não perca o amor. “É preciso amar as pessoas como se não houvesse amanhã”, sim, hoje está sendo um dos dias mais felizes da minha vida, pois eu estou com as pessoas que mais amo nessa vida, celebrando o que poderia ser uma tragédia, mas fiz uma comédia 🖤
