Barstool Fund helps out Palatine small business

The Coronavirus Pandemic has decimated small businesses all across the country.

Unfortunately in the Chicagoland area, we’ve had to watch some of our favorite small businesses close their doors this past year.

Thankfully though, Barstool Sports has created a fund that has already raised over $20 million for small businesses across the country.

Sunmade Cleaners in Palatine is one of those businesses that got the call that they were going to get some help.

The cool thing about the Barstool Fund is that they aren’t just helping them with a one time payment to get by. They are going to help them for the remainder of the pandemic, however long it takes.

So do your part and consider donating to the fund and save out small businesses!

Doing hair at home seems like a good idea until you almost DIE. Surely, no one wants to DIE while doing their own hair.

I guess thats why you cant buy electronic hair tools off ads on Pinterest, she should’ve seen it coming.

To be honest she should be more pinterested in spending the little extra time to blow dry, then straighten! Trying to cheat the system never works out.

A Guy Has Two More Guesses at His Password or He’ll Lose $234 Million in Bitcoin Forever

If you’re thinking about finally getting in on this whole Bitcoin investment thing, it turns out your most valuable asset might be a pen and paper.

There’s a guy named Stefan Thomas in San Francisco and he has a digital wallet with 7,002 Bitcoin in it … which means it’s worth around $234 MILLION.

But Stefan has a serious problem.  The private keys he needed to unlock his account are on an encrypted hard drive … aaaaaand he LOST the password to that hard drive. YIKES!

There’s more.  You only get 10 guesses at the password before the hard drive permanently encrypts its contents and can’t be unlocked.  And Stefan has already made eight wrong guesses.

So he only has two more shots to figure out his password . . . or he’s out $234 MILLION forever.  And since Bitcoin is decentralized, there’s no “get my lost keys” option.  You either have them or you don’t and you’re out of luck.

Stefan says, quote, “I would just lay in bed and think about it.  Then I would go to the computer with some new strategy, and it wouldn’t work, and I would be desperate again.”

Talk about ANXIETY … Wow!

You put some mentos in a 2 liter of coke and the chemical reaction causes it to explode.

Fun stuff, little science experiment.

But what would happen if you did this in a toilet?

Ok obviously this is a little “edited” but that’s just because the power of the three elements combined would be way to powerful to actually film.

It might be, at least this is what scientists are saying, the most powerful weapon known to man.

KINGS OF LEON make it personal

Caleb Followill says his lyrics on the new Kings of Leon album When You See Yourself are the most personal in the band’s career.

He told The Sun, “I try to write and convince myself that I’m writing about something else, but a vein of my personal life flows through these songs.”

The album was going to be released last year to go along with the band’s tour, but since that didn’t happen Caleb says they used that time to really examine the songs and critique little things they wanted to hear.

The new album “When You See Yourself” will be out on March 5th.

These guys become fake target models

These guys are super talented at faking ads for famous brands and stores.

There most recent target was… Target!

They made up an entire fake hiring campaign for the chain store and put up their own posters that they modeled for inside their local store!

SUSPECT 208 featuring the son’s of rock greats SCOTT WEILAND, SLASH, METALLICA are looking for a new lead singer.

Suspect 208, the band featuring the sons of Slash, Robert Trujillo of Metallica and the late Scott Weiland, are already looking for a new singer.

Noah Weiland was the singer on the band’s first two tracks, which came out last year. However, on Friday they posted a note on Instagram that said, “Suspect 208. Singer Wanted. Requirements: Age 18 to 24, Must live in LA. To submit your audition: DM us your cover of ‘Black Dog’ by Led Zeppelin. List 3 musical influences.”

A couple of days later they explained the reasons for letting Noah go.

Besides Weiland, the band’s lineup included drummer London Hudson (son of Slash), bassist Tye Trujillo (son of Robert Trujillo), and guitarist Niki Tsangaris.
