At Tesla, Elon has a rule set in place, if you’re not learning from a meeting and not contributing, it’s ok to leave. It’s not rude, you’re just not wasting anyone’s time. Here he is explaining it himself. Maybe more would get done at companies if they followed this one!
The 16th hole at the Waste Management Open was lit up on Saturday after Sam Ryder’s hole-in-one. The fans celebrated the only way they knew how to as classy golf fans- throw your beer!! And the cups just kept on coming. SO much so that no alcohol was allowed at the 16th hole the rest of tournament… this is why they can’t have nice things! Check out this plastic cup tsunami.
Naming a baby is a huge deal. You have to call this human that is yours the same name for the REST OF IT’S WAKING LIFE! But no pressure. Make it easy on yourself and pick some family name, but definitely, do not, in any circumstance, name your kid any of these names- oh yeah- they’re also banned.
King
Queen
Jesus Christ
III
Santa Claus
Majesty
Adolf Hitler
Messiah

And to add on that… you can’t put a number in their name, so don’t even try Tim0thy, it won’t work and it’s not cute. It’s scary that I have to say this, but emojis are also off the table. That’s right, you can’t name your kid winky face.
We’re not the only ones with rules like this in the US, other countries have random names you can’t use, like these-
Osama bin Laden (Germany)
Metallica: (Sweden)
Prince William (France)
Devil (Japan)
Check out this website before you start the naming process and save yourself some hassle- winky face.
It’s the Salt Shed. And it’s coming August 2022 to Chicago.
A $50 million redevelopment of the old Morton Salt factory will yield both indoor (3600 capacity) and outdoor (7000 capacity) venues, as well as the possibility of having other tenants such as a riverfront bar/restaurant, breweries, and coffee roasters.
The people behind Empty Bottle & Thalia Hall are behind this project, who put their first ever schedule up on Facebook.

A classic car owned by Billie Joe Armstrong was stolen this week —-
My car was STOLEN 1962 Chevy II. This car is near and dear to all our hearts and has been in the GD family for over 30 years. Please send any sighting, tips or info to the Costa Mesa police. Incident # 2015,2016. Please call 714-754-5280 please re-post, & find this car!! pic.twitter.com/BkcaBcxaDg
The best news? It’s been found, abandoned and undamaged. However, an amp and some guitars belonging to the Green Day frontman were stolen and still missing. At least Billie Joe got back a car that’s been with the band for three decades. Wow.
UPDATE: Last night, Feb. 8, Detective Lopez, acting on tips from the public, asked the @OCSheriff to look for the stolen vehicle in the unincorporated area of El Modena in the City of Orange, where the vehicle was found abandoned.
Eric Kristensen has never committed grand theft auto, nor any other felony. He’s a wholesome guy who holds down the Weekend KQX for us and you should follow him on Instagram (@erickristensen)
Hey friends! I like music and you like music, here are just a few tunes I’m digging on lately.
Sad Night Dynamite- Ice Violence. I’m pretty much obsessed with this band at the moment. They are opening for Glass Animals on their upcoming US tour and I NEED to see them.
Jadu Heart- Another Life. I really like songs that ride out, and this one rides out.
Liam Gallagher- Everything’s Electric. Its not Oasis, but it still rules.
Two Feet and Grandson- Until I Come Home. Grandson always does good features right?
Pearl Jam- Hail, Hail. I saw Eddie twice this week so I’m officially on a Pearl Jam kick, and I always felt No Code was super underrated and unfairly panned because it was such a different sound than what anyone expected from the band when it came out. There are some gems on that record, this being one of them.
If you haven’t been keeping up with The Wieners Circle’s Twitter, not only are you missing out on hilarious messages on their marquee sign, but you’re also missing out on the case of The Wieners Circle brick thrower!
The video above is security footage of the person throwing a brick through the front door before getting into a car and driving off. Luckily, none of the employees were hurt during the confrontation. Thanks to the #wienersleuths and #wienerheads, they’ve tracked down who the car belongs to according to the license plate in the video, and the name really fits!
Follow @TheWienersCircle on twitter to stay up to date and support a fine Chicago establishment!
On his first night on the job, an art gallery security officer gets bored and DRAWS EYES ON A MILLION DOLLAR PAINTING!! Someone needs to teach this guy about wordle… full story here. That’s definitely coming out of his paycheck.

Looks like Weezer is making good on their promise to release 4 albums this year, in conjunction with the seasons…or should i say szns? The SZNS Collection will debut with Spring on March 20th and continue with Summer on June 20th, Fall on September 22nd, and Winter on December 21st. Can’t wait for the “dibs” song in December.
Sometimes masterpieces aren’t appreciated. This banned ad from Doritos never made it to TV but is still hilarious. A Karen somewhere probably complained about it in a focus group. Here’s what you won’t be seeing during the Super Bowl from Doritos. Personally, I think Gwyneth eating her own “scented” candle is pretty bad, but that’s still running! C’mon people! No one wants to see that!
Super Bowl commercials are always the most entertaining of the year. Lately, they’ve been tapping celebs more and more and this year is no different. Martha and Snoop Dogg? Check. Seth Rogan and Paul Rudd? Of course! Here’s one from AT&T that you might not expect- it plays off of the obvious fact that Mila Kunis and Demi Moore both have been in love with Ashton Kutcher. There’s more in the link below!
A woman was interviewing for a job at an airline and she was submitting her questions to them online. Little did she know that the recording of her interview had already started when she was practicing answering the questions. Her big mistake? Making fun of the questions she was being asked… it’s painful but you have to watch!
According to a recent study by MoneyGeek, in which they figured out the safest places to live in US, three Illinois towns made the list in the top ten! They based their research off of crime data and used that to calculate how much crime costs in each area. Buffalo Grove topped the list followed by Bartlett and Orland Park. Here’s the full list!
