Pretending to call your parents from jail and asking for bail is more than risky. This girl did it anyway to her dad and his response was 15/10. You’d hope that your parents would react like this if you had to make this phone call from Cook County jail. Not only is he understanding, he’s also ready to find bail money. She needs to get him an extra nice gift for Father’s Day now for putting him through that.

Korn has covered Radiohead, and Pink Floyd, but this might be their best yet. In this video you can see them pretending to be Backstreet Boys singing their smash hit from 1999, “I Want It That Way.” Will they come out with a covers album dedicated to pop songs, probably not, but it would be cool!

Sometimes all you need is a few minutes of sleep when you’re dead tired. But who can do that? You’ve heard your grandpa say he would take a 10 minute power nap, but he didn’t have the noise in his head that we do today. Or did he? There is a way to nap really quick that’s actually used in the military. This Navy Seal breaks it down , take notes, and get some much needed Z’s! You only need 8 min!
In 2019, the national average of life expectancy was about 78.8 years. Not bad. Hawaii had the highest, with 80 years and Mississippi was the lowest at 74.4 years. A lot of the lower rated states are in the south due to economic factors. Illinois falls into the second highest category at 78.4- 79.5. We can live with that!
Michael Scott was not the originator of “That’s What She Said.” In fact, it’s first documented use was with Chevy Chase on SNL in the 1970’s. Then it was used again in the movie Wayne’s World, and made popular again by our favorite TV boss, Michael Scott. He made it so popular you probably can’t get through the week without hearing it once… especially if you’re friends are immature.
Do you ever wonder how much toilet paper you actually use in a year? The average American uses about 141 rolls! It’s no surprise that the U.S. ranks high in toilet paper usage across the globe, but we’re not number one. Portugal ranks the highest for overall in a lifetime. China has the most rolls per year as to be expected given their population, 4 billion miles of the stuff each year, whoa!

It’s been a crappy spring in Chicago. Don’t you wish you could buy the Weezer Snuggie?
More than a decade ago now, the band was doing promotion for their newly released album Raditude. Being no stranger to tapping into all kinds of cultural phenomena, Rivers and company knew immediately….slapping their name on the front of a blanket with sleeves was a — winner? As Rivers recounted in an interview, he wasn’t sure why:
“It’s hard to understand the appeal of this product,” Cuomo told MTV News. “Obviously it’s a giant hit, but I don’t really understand why. But as soon as we came up with the idea, we were like, ‘Yes! This is it!’ Cultural critics are going to have to go back and figure out what was going on here. It was genius, but at this moment we don’t know why.”
If you’re hoping to snag a Snuggie at the merch table this Tuesday during Ahoy! with Weezer, I wouldn’t bet on it. Perhaps eBay can be your savior? — [eric]
That fast food may stick to your hips a little longer than you thought.
During a home remodeling project in suburban Crystal Lake, a couple found decades old McDonald’s wrappers and a bag of still intact French fries inside the walls of their bathroom.
The Jones family say their home was built in 1959 and a franchise of the popular fast food restaurant opened up around that time. As to how those fries survived the test of time?
“My thoughts are that it was likely the salt that dried out and preserved the fries, not actual preservatives,” said Grace Jones, “Or at least that’s what I’m telling myself.”
A woman was on Tinder recently and matched with a cute guy. Instead of trying to get to know her right away, or even say ‘hello’, he sent her a dating application filled with weird questions. They started off simple, then got more weird as it went on. It even asked her to rate the quiz at the end. It’s been shared on social and has since blown up. What would you do?

In this video you can see how music has changed over the decades. Starting in the 70’s it was hard to knock off anyone that wasn’t the Beatles, Elvis, or Led Zeppelin. The 80’s, Michael Jackson, Queen, and Prince had on lock… then Madonna came along. Then in the 1990’s Celine Dion ruled the roost, until your favorite rapper took over in the 2000s, Eminem. Watch the trends change over the decades here!

The Apple engineer who invented autocorrect for the iPhone and spent over 15 years at Apple is Ken Kencionda. He says there were several fails with autocorrect. Your phone tries to guess what words you meant based on where your fingers land, and what other words are around it. There is also a static dictionary and a dynamic dictionary. The static, is the one with words it knows. The dynamic dictionary is words that YOU use, like a slang word or a common name you give something. It doesn’t always use the dynamic dictionary first. To fix it, go to settings, general, keyboard, and then finally, text replacement. You can put in a shortcut for your favorite word… like duck.
