During Pearl Jam’s concert the Forum last week, they did a live cover of a Foo Fighters song called “A Cold Day In The Sun.” It was from the In Your Honor album and featured Taylor’s vocals on the track. “He never wasted a moment,” they said before kicking it off. Watch below!

During the early days of the Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan used to stop and admire the neon "Chop Suey" sign outside the Orange Garden restaurant in North Center.
The Orange Garden “Chop Suey” neon has stood over Irving Park Rd. for decades — and after announcing the restaurant was being sold, the Smashing Pumpkins frontman will preserve the sign in his Highland Park tea shop.

A woman recently found out that her husband had been writing sweet, romantic messages in her shoes for years. 6 years! It started when she noticed something nice written on the inside tongue of her fila shoes that she got from Poshmark. She assumed it was from the previous owner… but it wasn’t. Just another story to add to list of weird events that have transpired at the one of the world’s busiest airports. Here’s a handful of them:
34 people were hurt as the result of a Blue line train crashing at the O’Hare terminus back in 2014. NTSB investigated the accident and determined that the conductor fell asleep at the controls. Believe it or not, they estimated the speed of the train to be about 25MPH at the time. That’s all it took to do that kind of damage….crazy.
Goats, sheep, and yes, even a donkey have been employed by the city’s Department of Aviation to provide a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable way to keep the many fields surrounding the runways nice and trim. Not a baaaaad idea. — [eric]
