It may look like a place to deposit your check or some sort of toll-collection device on the Jane Addams, but no — this is a futurist taco delivery device. Meet Defy, a one-of-a-kind concept restaurant that might change how you make a run for the border.
Instead of ONE drive-thru lane, there are FOUR — three devoted to mobile or delivery orders, in addition to the traditional one. It also features an elevated kitchen above the lanes. What you might notice is — zero places to sit inside. That’s gone.
So check out the only one in existence — Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. It might be the best idea they’ve had since turning the Mexican Pizza into a musical.

The Golden Nugget Pancake House closed Sunday after 52 years! The location at 4229 W. Irving Park Road was once a 24-hour restaurant, but due to fewer customers, and difficulty finding staff, the eatery closed Sunday. A note on the door let customers know what locations their favorite workers were moved to, but many will miss weekend breakfast there and having a place where everyone knew their name. There are still four remaining locations in the city: 2406 W. Diversey Ave., 3959 W. Diversey Ave., 3001 N. Central Ave. and 1765 W. Lawrence Ave.

The Foo Fighters have announced that they will perform two very special “all star” tribute shows for their late drummer Taylor Hawkins. One is in London at Wembley on September 3rd, and the other will be September 27th at The KIA Forum in Los Angeles. Tickets for both shows go on sale June 17th. The star-studded lineups for the shows will be announced shortly.
