NBC Chicago says a $35 million dollar class-action settlement has been reach with the app’s parent company:

“The lawsuit accused the social network of violating Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act by illegally collecting users’ biometric information without their consent, according to court documents. It was filed in May in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.”

Little Leaguer calls ESPN “dramatic” after bad call

A hot mic caught a player calming down his teammate over a bad call in the Little League World Series. Iowa was beating Washington 6-3 and the late inning rally was just ESPN “being dramatic” according to one player. That’s when coach stepped in and told everyone to shake it off.

You can own a set of rings from the Bulls first three-peat.

The rings belonged to Horace Grant — who had auctioned them off for a charity event in the past — and the size 12 rings from the 1991, 1992, and 1993 NBA titles are going for around $30K a piece — and might be worth more than 3X that.
