Imagine going on a date with a 10, and then they laughed like this woman. Could you do it still? I’d have trouble getting through the date, let alone a lifetime. Before I get into the extremely emotional voicemail that Taylor Hawkins left Miley Cyrus just days before he died, let me ask you all a question: Do you save voicemails from people you love just in case something bad happens to them? That way you can hear their voice forever? I have one from my mom the week before she passed away and even though I haven’t had the strength to listen to it, I feel loved and comforted knowing that it is there for me if I ever need it.
Now back to the voicemail Taylor left for Miley. A few days before the surprisingly sudden death of Taylor, he left Miley an amazing voicemail. In the voicemail he told Miley that she has an amazing voice and that he would love to hear her cover Def Leppard’s 1983 hit, “photograph”. Miley never had the opportunity to grant Taylor’s wish while he was with us but at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert she knew exactly what song she had to sing. Full of emotion, Miley hit the stage at the benefit show and gave Taylor exactly what he asked for. To say it was beautiful would be under selling it. It may have been the most amazing thing my watery eyes have ever seen.

It looks like Hollywood star, Jonathan Majors, is in talks to play Dennis Rodman in the movie being made about his epic Las Vegas bender called, “48 Hour In Vegas.” The movie captures his adventures in Vegas, when he was only supposed to stay for a few days as quick break while the Bulls were on the verge of completing their second three-peat in eight years. It wasn’t two days. And Michael Jordan had to go find him and drag his butt back to Chicago. Some say it might become too much like the movie “The Hangover” but we shall see! The Taylor Hawkins tribute in LA included Violet Grohl singing “Hallelujah”
Some of the biggest names in music came together at the Kia Forum to honor the late drummer of the Foo Fighters. This was the second tribute show this month dedicated to Taylor, the first being in London. The night kicked off with Joan Jett performing with Travis Barker. Joan spoke about her close friendship with Hawkins and got choked up trying to finish her speech. Such is the story for all of the performers that night.
Other acts included Queen, Rush, Pink, Them Crooked Vultures, and Kesha. Violet Grohl came out to sing to Leonard Cohen’s, “Hallelujah” and there wasn’t a dry eye inside of the Forum. Fellow drummers Josh Freese and Chad Smith also showed up to honor their friend.

My girlfriend has a coworker who flirts with her nonstop. He’s always asking her out to lunch and sending her texts. She says he’s innocent and harmless but it bothers me that she lets it happen. She tells me everything and we laugh about it but it bothers me that she doesn’t put a stop to it. I always joke about showing up to her work and telling him myself but she begs me not to. He knows I exist but he is still hits in her everyday. Does she belong to the streets for not telling him to stop and that he doesn’t have a chance? I’m starting to get irritated by this whole thing.
