Cyclone Debbie which swept across the Queensland coast of Northeastern Australia on Tuesday causing widespread damage with winds up to 185 kph (114 mph).
Apparently, that is the speed required to make SHARKS FLY THROUGH THE AIR…
(or at least, wash up onto the mainland)
What should the title of Sharknado 5 be?
I vote for “Sharknado 5: last one, we promise.”

Judgy Cashiers, Things You Can’t Do As An Adult That You Should and Is It Florida!!
I sense new Bleachers music soon!!! Jack Antonoff has been dropping cryptic video hints on the band’s Twitter that include a first-person look at his family home as well as a bus ride from Jersey to NYC. Take a look:

Bleachers’ website is just a map graphic showing a trip between New Jersey and Lower Manhattan; most likely the trip we just experienced through Jack’s “eyes” in the video clips. Their Twitter account is also sporting a new profile photo. Could it be new album artwork?!
We’ll wait (im)patiently to find out.

Apparently the answer to “How many millennials does it take to screw in a light bulb?” is “Zero . . . because you’ll have to do it for them.” According to a new survey, one out of eight people under 35 say they don’t know how to change a light bulb . . . and they’d ask their parents for help. Super Troopers 2 is coming soon!
…someone had some sticky fingers!
Self Driving Cars, We Need To Talk and Jay Chandrasekhar in studio…
I wanted to share my new favorite series with you guys, because if you’re not following Chris Pratt on Instagram you’d probably miss it! He’s currently slimming down for his role in Jurassic World 2 – AND HE’S HUNGRY!! A feeling that anyone who’s dieted can relate to. (p.s. Body-Shamers need to get a life.)
I’m super excited about Green Day coming to Wrigley Field August 24th. I happened upon this video series chronicling their early years from their start playing venues in the late 80s through their big break in the industry with the release of the Dookie in 1994.
Check out the videos on Spotify here: Green Day: The Early Years – there’s some cool animated series as well as the origins of a few other bands, like Blink 182 and Metallica.
Queens of Stone Age are ready to release a new music, and we need this a lot more than whatever that newfangled Snapchat rip off that Facebook is doing. QOTSA mastermind Josh Homme has been busy in the last year while periodically working on the new album, he also collaborated with Lady Gaga on her album ‘Joanne’ and produced Iggy Pop’s ‘Post Pop Depression’. Queens are already committed to several shows this summer, but NME reported through sources that the band ‘just finished’ the new record. Now when this new album is going to be available is not clear.
This will be the Queens follow-up to 2013’s ‘Like Clockwork’ which spawned the hit “I Sat By the Ocean.”
Should we fire our intern, is it okay to publicly shame your kid and “What Ya Missed”
Donald Trump's Speeches As An Early 2000s Emo Song
We thought Donald J. Trump's tweets were as sad as it gets, until we turned his speeches into an early 2000s emo song.

I could watch dogs dancing to Portugal The Man – ‘Feel It Still’ forever!!
(from chicagoist.com – It probably won’t look like this…)
After plans for the George Lucas Museum foundered, former executives from the Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium realized that Chicago was hungry for another museum. Lucas’ proposal didn’t hit the mark—Friends of the Park blocked it from locating on a stretch of lakefront—but these execs realized that otherwise the public, donors and the city itself was ready. That’s when they began hatching a plan to bring a new museum to the city. They set their sites on a museum focused on sports, aimed not just at diehard sports fans but also students. There are Halls of Fame all over the country, but they tend to be set in smaller towns and focused on a single sport. And they tend to be less interdisciplinary and more focused on memorabilia.

Twenty One Pilots Battle The Bots, sounds like a new Transformers movie, but even better… your band is protecting you from the bad people who snatch up all the tØp tickets and resell them to you for an arm and a leg and other assorted body parts and internal organs. Check out how they are fighting with the Tour De Columbus:
