Don Rickles hadn’t recorded Toy Story 4 dialogue before he died

Legendary performer and actor Don Rickles passed away last week (April 6) but news has now emerged that he hadn’t recorded his dialogue for Toy Story 4 before his untimely passing.
Rickles might be best known for his voice of Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story movies. Pixar are currently developing Toy Story 4 and recently pushed the film back until June 2019 to schedule in the release of The Incredibles 2. (MORE HERE)

Gorillaz is bringing its Demon Dayz music festival to Chicago

One of the most famous animated bands in the world is releasing a new album,Humanz, later this month and plotting a series of summer concerts where Damon Albarn (the human behind Gorillaz) will perform tracks from the record. Details of the tour have been scant, but many grumbled when Gorillaz wasn’t included on this year’s Lollapalooza lineup and instead showed up on the lineup for the Outside Lands Music Festival in San Fransisco.
It’s still unclear where or when the Demon Dayz festival will occur in Chicago, which already boasts a particularly crowded summer music festival calendar. Gorillaz will be in the U.S. in August for its performance at Outside Lands (which runs from August 11–13), so we’re guessing that the group’s Chicago festival will also fall on a weekend during that month.
As for a venue, Grant Park is probably off limits in the wake of Lollapalooza, but parks like Addams/Medill (the site of Spring Awakening and Ruido Fest) and Union Park (home to Pitchfork and North Coast) seem like possibilities. The festival could also conceivably take a cue from Chance the Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day festival and take up residence in Guaranteed Rate Field. (MORE HERE)

David Letterman is The Man
Since we weren’t there in person, we will have to take other people’s accounts of the 32nd annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony at their word, or shaky sneaky videos. After scouring a bunch of versions of Pearl Jam getting inducted by David Letterman’s retirement beard (and David Letterman himself) this is the only one I could find without people screaming the whole time. Did the Coachella Creep Get His Date for This Weekend?
I wonder what happened to the Coachella Creep?
Meet Gordie. He’s a middle aged man going through what middle aged men do best: a midlife crisis.
In short, this 56-year old man is looking for a very specific kind of gal to bring to this weekend’s festival. To be specific, she must be:
- Between the ages of 19-25. (Can anyone say age appropriate? But who am I to judge? Alright, keep going there Gordo…)
- Be comfortable traveling in a vintage RV. (Sweet ride pictured. Acceptable.)
- Be Coachella fashionable, provide Coachella playlist for drive, & brings road snacks. (All acceptable. What’s the big deal here?)
- Must not be into drugs, pot. (Has this guy done ANY research about Coachella? This is starting to get odd.)
- Must keep feet and hands moisturized at all times (….wait, WHAT?!?)
- Allow Gordie to hand hold, have “periodic moments of extended eye contact, allow Gordie to “brush your hair once per day.” (Didn’t I see this movie? Something about Buffalo Bill…)
- Must post minimum of 4 photos of the two of your together (you know, to publicize your bad decisions to friends and family)
- You must say “I am naughty” twice during the trip…and at least once, Gordie wants you to say “[I] didn’t know how this would go, but [I’m] actually having a good time.” (He’s SCRIPTING your creepy trip. Run away. And run fast.)
Sadly, the ad was taken down rather quickly. But you can see what it looked like here. So does this mean he found a date? (If this guy was even real….or instead, a parody.)
I know people REALLY are into Coachella. But ending up as a prisoner in Gordie’s basement for the next ten years? Maybe just shell out the $1000, huh? — [eric]

Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys has a new single out off of his new solo album coming out June 2nd.
Don Rickles was one of the funniest men who ever lived
This week comedy legend Don Rickles passed away at the age of 90 due to kidney failure. His prolific career in comedy, television, and film spanned through multiple decades, seeing him rise from night clubs to the world stage. He gained national prominence through his working relationship with pop singer Frank Sinatra and his many appearances on ‘the Tonight Show’ with Johnny Carson. Rickle’s electric comedy style was unfiltered wit and a natural ability to cut into any sacred cow that existed in pop culture and beyond. To be insulted by him was a sincere and dignified honor. He gained the ironic nickname ‘Mr. Warmth’ but to those close to him he was regarded as a truly endearing and caring man who stayed loyal to his craft. No matter who he was joking about, Rickles will be remembered as one of the greatest comedians who ever lived.

MATT & KIM CANCEL TOUR (WATCH HOW KIM INJURED HERSELF ON STAGE)
This sucks so much. Not only are Matt & Kim great and I love their music, but I love them even more because I’ve gotten to know them through their Snapchat Story and YouTube videos.
Basically what happened was Matt & Kim were performing at a festival in Mexico and Kim unfortunately tore her ACL during the performance. They’ve had to cancel all currently announced tour dates and estimate they’ll be off the road for approximately 9 months for her to heal….
Kim is awesome and I know she’s going heal fast and they will come back bigger and badder than ever!!
