This is that sad time of year in which our collectively hungry masses find out which one of our TV shows will return for another season and which will not. It’s cancellation season in TV and here is a rundown of what shows are getting let go and which ones are sticking around. Below is a complete detailed list of what shows are renewed and cancelled based on what network they air on, but here is a look at the biggest cancellations and renewals.

• ‘Roseanne’ was reported for a revival possibly on Netflix, but ABC has swooped in to pick it up.

• ‘2 Broke Girls’ : CBS is giving the single ladies being waitresses sitcom the boot after 6 seasons

• ‘Scream Queens’ has apprently been killed off by FOX. 

• ‘APB’: This tech-driven cop series filmed in Chicago is not returning.

• ‘New Girl’ has been a renewed for a brief 8-episode final season. This Zoey Descahnelle episode was as quirky and loveable as it’s lead, it helped usher in more non-studio shot comedies on TV. It’s good it gets to end it’s story.

•  CBS cancels ‘The Odd Couple’ with Tom Lennon and Mattew Perry after Season 3. This story has been done in film and TV before but this studio sitcom take was not bad but didn’t break the mold either. Tom Lennon earned my heart with ‘the State’ and ‘Reno 911.’ Perry, you will remember for jumping in that fountain with Jennifer Aniston and friends on um… ‘Friends’.

• ‘The Vampire Diaries’: The CW has felt it’s final sexy vampire bite. Are we done with sexy horror characters yet?

• ‘Son of Zorn’: An animated He-Man character in the real world in an Adult Swim style comedy on FOX.  This show was original and unique but it was not enough to survive. I suggest you sneak it out on Hulu.
