PRESIDENT DWAYNE ‘THE ROCK’ JOHNSON?!

THE ROCK 2020?!

ETC. Show really riffs over the whole spectacular concept of the Rock running for office. Watch the video, these guys have an entertaining perspective on whole bunch of crazy topics like this.

Stranger things have happened right? Hollywood heavyweight champion and WWE legend The Rock is connected  to a swirl of rumors that he could see him step into the ring of politics. These rumors have been around for a while, but Dwayne Johnson is now actually addressing the rumors and he’s not completely writing them off as pop culture fluff after Donald Trump surprised a lot of people jumping into public office. It was the subject of a recent GQ article.

Other pro wrestlers and entertainers have been successful in politics. Ronald Reagan was an actor in movies before he had political career that lead him to the White House as a two-term President. Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected as ‘the Governator’ of California. Fellow WWE wrestler Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura broke through as the shocking winner of a gubernatorial campaign for Minnesota as an independent in 1998. So the Rock would not be the first to slam their way into elected office.

As a lifelong WWE fan, I smell what’s cooking here.

Here’s the trailer for the Rock’s next butt-kicking blockbuster, an action-comedy take on ‘Baywatch’

After Cubs Superfan Booted, Is This The Curse Of Ronnie Woo Woo?

(from chicagoist.com)

Before the season began, the mighty World Champion Chicago Cubs were favored to once again win it all. But after a little over 30 games in, they’re instead floating at .500, second to last in the division, with the hated St. Louis Cardinals leading the Central. Call it the Curse of Ronnie Woo Woo.

For the uninitiated, Ronnie “Woo Woo” Wickers is a diehard Cubs lifer, a Wrigley Field staple for much of the last three decades. His omnipresence at the ballpark and in the media, coupled with his signature “woo woo” rallying cry, have made him a vintage true-Chicago character in the eyes of many fans—although he’s certainly not without his detractors. (MORE HERE)

I can’t believe he still has to pay for tickets. Also WHY would you ever kick him out of a game?? He should be an honorary Cub!!
