We all fidget. We swing our headphones, we peel twigs and tear cardboard coasters, we flip pens around our thumbs and split the ends of our hair. Do we really need to explain, rationalize and lend science to the newest fidget toy? Sure, you’ll feel like a dumbass while you play with it. But here’s the thing: Fidget spinners are fine. They are a children’s toy. Everyone’s got an opinion on the spinner. This weekend, people wanted you to know that there’s no science proving it helps with ADHD.  Like every toy fad, some schools have banned them, and teachers hate them. Others have even decided to analyze its controversial origin story.

Devil Horns Up: New Kuma’s Corner To Open In West Loop Next Wednesday

The grills are primed to be lined with those massive patties, and the figurative back door is ready begrudgingly allow for wayward hippies: the West Loop location of Kuma’s Corner, Chicago’s very own iconic metal burger bar, will officially open its doors next week, on Wednesday, May 24. Mark Wahlberg and Brothers Finally Bringing Wahlburgers to Chicago

As if Chicago doesn’t have enough burger places, celebrity/actor Mark Wahlberg stands poised to finally bring his chain to the city. Ownership didn’t share the address where they plan on opening a Wahlburgers, but they did tell Crain’s to expect a 2018 opening somewhere in River North.
