In addition to the soundtrack dropping today, Let’s Play Two is now showing in select theaters. But it won’t last forever — scroll to the bottom for dates/locations.
This documentary is perfect for Chicago. (The parts of the city that embrace the Cubs, that is.) The movie plays as a love story between Eddie Vedder & the Cubs…part recap of the magical run to the World Series title and part kickass concert footage from their two historical performances at Wrigley last year.
Fan club members of Pearl Jam got to hit up the Metro for the last couple of nights…and now it settles in for a week long run at Arclight in Chicago. After that, it makes a limited appearance in suburban theaters. Hit it up for the movie theatre experience…or wait until November to take it home. — [eric]

While appearing on Marc Maronâs WTF podcast earlier this month, Lorde confessed her love for the work of Phil Collins. âMy favorite pop males are the guys that sound like a combination of your boyfriend and your dad,â she said before singing a few bars of âTake Me Homeâ. âThatâs Phil.â That discussion must have primed the pop star for her BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge appearance earlier this morning, because she knew right away what song sheâd be covering: Collinsâ classic âIn the Air Tonightâ. The first clip from Josh Hommeâs appearance on Bedtime Stories has been released, and it sees the Queens of The Stone Age frontman showing an altogether softer side.
The singer is set to follow in the footsteps of Tom Hardy and Avengers star Chris Evans by taking part in the CBeebies show, which sees a famous face reading out a popular childrenâs bedtime story.
Now, the first footage from Hommeâs appearance has been released, and it shows him reading out Julia Donaldsonâs âZogâ while accompanied by his friend SnoopBob Meatball, a toy dragon.
âNow, even dragons need to restâ, Homme softly tells viewers in the clip.
âItâs time for Snoop-Bob Meatball to go to sleep and you too! So snuggle up and dream of far away places. And Iâll see you soon for another bedtime story, night night!â (MORE HERE)

The Killers are truly an international sensation something that evident here locally when the Nevada based band headlined Lollapalooza. Every person I met at the fest that was from another country for Lolla, almost everyone of them mentioned they were there for Brandon Flowers and company. That global appeal continued in this viral hit from Austraila, where the band is set to provide the pre-show for the Australia Football League Grand Final this Saturday. It’s the Ausssie’s equivalent to the Super Bowl that is the championship game for Aussie rules football.
Australia’s love for the Killers produced this viral hit with sports host Gerard Whateley during a radio appearance, read the lyrics to ‘Mr. Brightside’ as if it was a sport with player charging to score a goal. It’s really striking to see the song about emotional distress over a relationship
.@GerardWhateley is ready to step in for @thekillers if they can't make the @AFL Grand Final. Watching him commentate 'Mr Brightside' is đŻ pic.twitter.com/o0hWWdhJPZ

According to BlabberMouth.net PROPHETS OF RAGE guitarist Tom Morello revealed in an interview with Music Feeds that he and late singer Chris Cornell â with whom Morello recorded and toured in AUDIOSLAVE â had discussed an innovative way to stage a reunion of the latter band before Cornell died last May. The idea came up after AUDIOSLAVE reunited for a brief three-song set last January, with Morello explaining: “We started talking about maybe doing some sort of similar thing where maybe it would be a PROPHETS OF RAGE show and then we would drop an AUDIOSLAVE set into the middle of it, and weâd have a ball.” (MORE HERE)

Damon Albarn has revealed that he wants to release another âsurpriseâ Gorillazalbum, much like they did with 2010âs âThe Fallâ.
While the band are currently on a world tour in support of their acclaimed 2017 album âHumanzâ, Albarn is already planning out their next record. In December 2010, Gorillaz fourth album âThe Fallâ was released with just five days notice as a free download. Now, it looks like they could catch their fans off guard once again. âI really like the idea of making new music and playing it live almost simultaneously,â Albarn told Q. âIt will be a more complete record than âThe Fallâ, but hopefully have that spontaneity.â (MORE HERE)

You don’t need a degree in quantum physics to enjoy Adult Swim’s popular sci-fi sitcom Rick and Morty, but a healthy appetite for pop culture enhances the trope-filled show’s satirical flavor. As promised, the show’s third season of adventures with depressed, alcoholic, super-genius sociopath Rick Sanchez and his awkward grandson Morty are darker than ever. This season also offers a veritable masterclass in film and television trivia to those with a careful eye and a lot of time on their hands. (MORE HERE)

In terms of great musical eras, the early 90s were an amazingly fertile time for music, with the new heroes of alternative rock ruthlessly overthrowing the old guard, hip hop coming of age and rave culture leaving its grinning stamp on musicians across the spectrum. As a result, September 1991 yielded an incredible crop of killer albums – several of which changed music forever. (MORE HERE)
