The Chicaog Bulls have relaunched their charming web series, Late Night Snacks with Henry which features a very talkative kid named Henry who interacts with the Chicago Bulls while eating candy. On this episode, Henry helps player Zack Levine write a thank you card to team mate Robin Lopez for giving his jersey number. It’s cute, funny, and just a good watch.
The series had several last season including one with now former Bull and current Cavalier Dwayn Wade.
This is a lot nicer to hear about from the Bulls considering the news from last week when Bulls player Nikola Miroticsufferd a fractured bone in his face from an altercation with teammate Bobby Portis. Bulls are set for their home opener tonight at the UC against the San Antonio Spurs. Read full game preview running down the Bulls drama-filled week.
To honor the 10th anniversary of their seminal album ‘The Con’, sisters in alternative Tegan and Sara assembled an all star cast for ‘The Con X: Covers’ to cover the tracks from the 2007 album. You can listen to entire album in the Youtube playlist above with acts like Ryan Adams, Shura, PVRIS, CHVRCHES, Cyndi Lauper, Bleachers and Hayley Williams of Paramore all contributed dancier takes on the album’s original versions.
This special project was put together by T&S for a special cause. “From day one we wanted the proceeds to go to our newly-launched Tegan and Sara Foundation, which raises money for self-identified women and girls in the LGBTQ community. With that intention set, we asked 14 artists who were either outspoken allies of the LGTBQ community or LGBTQ themselves to each cover a song from The Con. We encouraged each artist to approach the song they were covering in any fashion they saw fit. Their inspiration could come from the original record or The Con Demos, our first home recordings that were released after The Con came out. All the artists agreed to donate their time and energy to the project and their labels all agreed to waive their fees as well.” says a statement on the band’s official website.
A simplistic gem on the record is Ryan Adams’s drum machine and guitar take on ‘Back In Your Head’ is a stand out.

Speaking to Cleveland.com, Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy says the band has finished recording their delayed album ‘ M A N I A’ which was originally scheduled for release in September, and is now due out in January. “We’re done recording, officially! Which is pretty awesome. We’re just in the mixing stages now. Now, we’re just mixing and mastering the songs, which is really exciting. This didn’t seem like a place we could get to six months ago. It’s really cool to be here. We finished recording, maybe last week.”: says Wentz.
When asked for memories of the recording of the band’s memories of the prolonged recording process, Wentz compared his working relationship with singer/guitarist Patrick Stump to a classic cartoon. “There was a period when I was driving (lead singer) Patrick (Stump) to the studio. It felt a little bit like “The Flintstones,” picking up Barney Rubble on the way to break some rocks. That’s not that great of a story, but whatever. ”
FOB has recently brewed up the hype pot for the new album with a sold out House of Blues show in Chicago last month and the limited release fidget spinner that doubles as a blue tooth speaker. Check that out here.

Conan O’Brien appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Friday, where he told a funny story about how David Letterman once sent him a horse. Unprepared for a horse in his life (especially the ornery one Letterman had selected), O’Brien confided to Colbert that the gift (in recompense for a glowing profile Conan wrote of Letterman upon Dave’s retirement from that same Late Show in 2015) has been something of a burden, frankly. Well, emerging from wherever he’s been cultivating his gloriously Skinny Santa beard for a rare talk show appearance with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday, Dave spun a very Letterman-like response to Conan’s televised griping, explaining that the horse was just a goof, intended to “take a dump” on Conan’s stage and then be returned to the ornery horse farm he’d come from.
