They are zany to the max, there baloney in their slacks. they are animany. and totally insaney. The Animaniacs are coming back for two seasons on Hulu. The news was announced yesterday according to Variety. New episodes are set to debut on the streaming service Hulu in 2020.
Hulu, Amblin Television, and Warner Bros. Animation are partnering for a rebooted version of the classic cartoon series, which has scored a two-season, straight-to-series commitment at the streaming service. On top of that, this new deal gives Hulu the exclusive on all 99 episodes of ‘Animaniacs’ as well the related animated comedies “Pinky and the Brain,” “Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain,” and the complete “Tiny Toon Adventures”
“Animaniacs” made its television debut in 1993, running for five total seasons and grew to become one of the best animated shows of the 90’s. It followed The Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and the Warner sister, Dot. They have been locked away in the Warner Bros. water tower for a very long time, but they escape where hilarity ensues.
Nostalgia Critic breaks down the delightfully demented humor of the show and the creative forces that helped it become a hit.
Publix Sub has been named America’s #1 sandwich (according to THRILLIST) and rightfully so!
Unfortunately, lots of people right here in Chicago will never know the glory that is a Publix Sub because THERE ISN’T A PUBLIX IN THIS ENTIRE STATE!!! Trust me, I have looked.
My love for The Sub has been well documented…
So… I love them a LOT. Should we start a petition to bring Publix to Chicagoland?!
Hungry. <3 @thelaurenoneil

You don’t need to tell us twice about not eating our vegetables…
An E. coli outbreak that stretches across 13 states may be tied to a bad batch of romaine lettuce. As of this writing, five people have been hospitalized and two people (including one in Canada) have died because of the outbreak. The CDC isn’t saying for certain that the E. coli comes from romaine lettuce, although Canadian health officials say it’s the cause of their outbreak.
Only one Illinois case has been confirmed, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Consumer Reports says stay away </a>from romaine lettuce until the exact cause is confirmed. People at high risk for E. coli dangers include kids, the elderly and anyone with a weakened immune system.
Brace yourself. This one might make you uncomfortable. An Austin musician named Sleep Good remixed Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” in a major chord and the result sounds like something that might play in the final scene of a teen movie.
Walter Gervers has been with Foals for 12 years, but the next time they come through Chicago someone else will be playing bass for the band. Foals posted the letter below on Facebook. Sounds like they are separating on good terms. The good news, looks like we’ll be seeing new music from Foals at some point soon.
‘Rick & Morty’ gave us a wonderful long-awaited season in 2017, and it was easily one of the best shows on TV this past year. If you don’t agree, you need Mr. Meeseeks to come fix your life. One of the writers Ryan Ridley revealed in an interview with Detroit Cast, that the head writers/show creators Dan Harmon and Jason Roiland “really take their time” and they have not started the next season of the hit Adult Swim series.
“I never understood why everybody—all parties, Dan, Justin and Adult Swim—didn’t get their shi*t together and make the show fast,” says Ridley. “It doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m sure they all have their reasons.”
“Get your sh*t together, you guys,” pleads Ridley.
This might be the longest wait for R&M fans. There was a 13-month gap between season 1 and 2, and then another 16-months until the nerdy hordes feasted on Season 3 in 2017. It could take up to two years for season four to be released, which could put Rick Sanchez and his space-traveling dysfunctional family back on the air in late 2019.

No sooner do we learn that sex robots are a real thing than we learn they can be hijacked to kill people. A cyber-security lecturer tells Newsweek, “Hackers can hack into a robot or a robotic device and have full control of the connections, arms, legs and other attached tools like in some cases knives or welding devices.” And in case you’re wondering, the technology has been moving along at a shocking pace, and sex robots are thought by some to be the future of sex tourism.
Security flaws have already been found in Bluetooth-enabled sex toys, which can be controlled remotely by hackers.
What happens if you eat at Chipotle for 430 days in a row? (refrains from poop joke)
The fast mexican joint celebrated the milestone by presenting Bruce Wayne of Tiffin, Ohio with a custom-made Chipotle superhero cape and cufflinks – a nod to his love of both Batman and burritos.
Chipotle will also reinvest his dollars spent over the course of his journey in a monetary donation to a nonprofit of his choice.
Previously, Wayne learned about a fellow fan who had consumed Chipotle for 425 days straight and knew his mission was clear.
With no end in sight, (refrains from another poop joke) Wayne is documenting his journey on instagram HERE

Spotify’s being sued by a music publishing company that represents artists like the Black Keys and Rage Against the Machine. Wixen Music Publishing says Spotify allegedly used thousands of songs without a license, and is seeking damages of $150K per song.
The legal reasons for the suit are a little complicated, but a lot revolves around whether the Music Modernization Act gets passed. You can read more about that here.
Just six months ago, Spotify settled for over $43 million to resolve a class-action lawsuit led by David Lowery (Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven) and Melissa Ferrick.
The NHL held a fan vote between November, 28th and December, 31st to decide the greatest uniform of all time. Nearly six million people voted and our Blackhawks came out on top! They officially have The Greatest NHL Uniform of All Time. I think we all knew that, though.
Check out the entire story from the NHL. Cue someone screaming about how this title should go to a Canadian team.
High-five to animator John Stratman and Mr. Sunday Movies for creating this 16 bit remake of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. If you have not seen the movie (Really? It’s been out for weeks!) and you’re planning on donating to the Disney fund that’s already raked in over a billion dollars on this movie, you might want to skip this. There are SPOILERS! Watch at your own risk.
John Stratman has done several of these for different movies. You can check them out HERE.

The list of finalists for induction to the NFL Hall of Fame was cut from 27 to 15. We won’t know who is getting in until the night before the Super Bow, but former Bear, Brian Urlacher is still in the hunt. Obviously, he’s in some pretty select company. Edgerrin James, Isaac Bruce, Steve Hutchinson, Joe Jacoby, Everson Walls, Tony Boselli, Ty Law, Alan Faneca, Ray Lewis, John Lynch, Kevin Mawae, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens and Brian Dawkins all made it as well. A few senior finalists are in the mix, too. Jerry Kramer, Bobby Beathard and Robert Brazile.
Out of all those names they’ll only pick up to 8. That happens on Feb, 3rd.
The Bears have it all HERE.

Heather Mosher who was battling an aggressive form of breast cancer at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, where she was married to David Mosher on December 22nd. She passed away the next day.
Her doctors asked David to move up their original wedding date of December 30th 2017, fearing Heather’s condition would worsen. The couple surrounded by their friends and family were married in the hospital’s chapel with the lovely bride dressed in a beautiful gown as they celebrated their vows.. The couple already endured so much, getting engaged the same day that Heather received her initial cancer diagnosis. Her funeral was held on December 30th.
Let it be a reminder that love conquerors all. Even in these tragic situations, you can see how much these people love each other and what that love means when challenged by sickness.
