Before they jammed the Aragon, Walk the Moon visited the 101WKQX LOUNGE with an massively fun session that featured the band digging deep into their musical message, random raps, GIANT CAT HEADS, and an intimate performance for select contest winners.
This session includes performances of ‘One Foot’, ‘Kamikaze’ and ‘ Shut Up and Dance with Me’
Yesterday, Thirty Seconds to Mars rolled out a new sexy single ‘Dangerous Night’ and performed the song live for the first time on the ‘Late Show with Stephen Colbert’. The performance was unique as it featured the band using a highly advanced robotic camera that made the entire song in one single continuous shot with the viewer being jerked around the stage like you are on a point-of-view roller coaster. It made the whole video stand out and not be just another band performing on TV.
This new song is the second single from 30TM after ‘Walk on Water’ came out a few months back. These first new songs heard from Jared Leto and company since the release of 2013’s Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams.
Jack White got the hype bees buzzing two weeks ago when he released two new songs off his upcoming album ‘Boarding House Research’ (due out March 23rd) and just last week announced a big tour that has people already rumoring he’s on a HUGE Chicago music fest, but today the Michigan bred musical maverick posted a new funky cut called ‘Corporation’.
The mostly instrumental jam features big bongos, electric organ, soul chaps, and a head-bobbing guitar riff. The song repeats the galvanizing White spitting out an instigating rant asking “whose with me?!” You can just picture White and an all-star band bringing down the house with this ramble-rouser that says so much with it’s swerving rhythm. It’s just another reminder that White will not be bound to any expectations, he’s just always going to experiment and come out ahead.
Here are the other new songs from White posted two weeks ago.
The new track from Thirty Seconds to Mars dropped online today. “Dangerous Night” has a lot of the big feels of their last track ‘Walk on Water’ but the lyrics are talking about attraction and sexual magnetism. So I am pretty sure that Jared Leto fans out there can contain themselves when they swoon and bop to this.
Check out the lyrics here.
THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS ‘DANGEROUS NIGHT’
[Pre-Chorus]
What a dangerous night to fall in lo-o-ove
Don’t know why we still hide what we’ve beco-o-ome (oh, oh)
[Chorus]
Do you wanna cross the line?
We’re runnin’ out of time
A dangerous night to fall in lo-o-ove (oh, oh)
[Bridge]
Oh, oh
Oh, oh
Oh, oh
Oh, oh
[Refrain]
I… I am a man on fire Fire, fire, fire, fire
You… a violent desire
[Pre-Chorus]
A dangerous night to fall in lo-o-ove
A dangerous night to fall in lo-o-ove
[Chorus]
Do you wanna cross the line?
We’re runnin’ out of time
A dangerous night to fall in lo-o-ove (oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
A dangerous night to fall in lo-o-ove (oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
A dangerous night to fall in lo-o-ove (oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
Linkin Park’s Mike Shinode released new 3 track EP called ‘Post Traumatic’. It’s first new music from Shinoda following the tragic passing of his band-mate and friend Chester Bennington last year.
“The past six months have been a rollercoaster,” Shinoda said in a statement. “Amidst the chaos, I’ve started to feel an intense gratitude – for your tributes and messages of support, for the career you have allowed me to have, and for the simple opportunity to create. Today, I’m sharing three songs I wrote and produced, with visuals that I filmed, painted, and edited myself. At its core, grief is a personal, intimate experience. As such, this is not Linkin Park, nor is it Fort Minor – it’s just me. Art has always been the place I go when I need to sort through the complexity and confusion of the road ahead. I don’t know where this path goes, but I’m grateful I get to share it with you.”
Now of course, what does this mean for the future of LInkin Park ? In a social media conversation today to get word out on ‘Post Traumatic’ , Shinoda shared that the band still intends on working together.
I have every intention on continuing with LP, and the guys feel the same. We have a lot of rebuilding to do, and questions to answer, so it’ll take time. https://t.co/nXLxTSd40J

He made a video to go along with each. There are a couple of really personal moments Mike shares at the end of the first and third video.

Shows on Jack White’s upcoming tour will be phone free. Jack’s hitting the road for his new album “Boarding House Reach.” The statement he released said “We think you’ll enjoy looking up from your gadgets for a little while and experience music and our shared love of it IN PERSON.” It shouldn’t really shock anyone that Jack is taking a stance on this. He’s been pretty outspoken at his shows if he sees someone with their phone out. How will they keep you from your phone during the performance? The Yondr pouch.
The statement said “Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and other photo or video-capturing gizmos will be secured in a Yondr pouch that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Travis Barker is working on a new documentary that will include Mark Hoppus and even Tom DeLonge. Tom split from Blink182 a few years ago to chase aliens. No, really. Some people think he has even found some legit proof of extraterrestrials…
But, as for Travis’ doc, he says it will be an extension of his book “Can I Say.” And since the book is about his life it makes sense that both Tom and Mark would be a part of it. So, while all this info may not answer your questions about life on another planet, or if Tom will ever return to Bilk, it does explain what Tom was talking about when he posted this on Instagram in December.
