Thanks to Joey @oxkidox for alerting me to the fact that guys are not immune from the fashion crisis we ladies have been in as of late.
First it was the butt-less jeans…
Then the seams and pockets they are trying to call pants…
The knee-window jeans…
And now allow me to present the T-Shirt Shirt:
I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that this is clearly a button up pinned to a t-shirt or that it is $1300!!!
Thoughts? Tweet me: @laurenoneil
[UPDATED 5/29/18: THEY DID IT. Turns out Rosanna was a total troll job. Ask….and eventually you shall receive. Here is the Weezer cover of Africa. Original story follows below (You may have to watch direct on YouTube….copyright things and all.)]
[ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED: Monday, May 28th]:
What started out as a goof has turned into — well, a thing. A teenage girl from around Cleveland started a campaign a few months back — as a joke, it turns out — to get Weezer to cover Toto’s classic smooth jam, “Africa.”
This turned into something the internet could get behind. Not to mention a member of the band as well:
last night patrick wilson made my dreams come true pic.twitter.com/Kxpi8kgHEC

So when word came that Weezer had finally covered Toto, the world sighed with relief and elation (or perhaps, they were just breathing normally?) But it turned out Weezer had the last laugh, as they covered a completely different hit from the 80s. I present to you — “Rosanna.” Enjoy. Weird Al Yankovic and the Foo Fighters are two distinctly different flavors of music, yet both are cherished for their unique sweetness. Well this week we got the musical equivalent of a Reese’s peanut butter cup when the master of musical comedy, Werid Al nailed an on-point cover of the Foo Figther’s classic “This Is a Call”. This comes from Yankovic’s ‘Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour’ where he plays scaled down intimate versions of his deeper tracks.
“We’ve never played this one before, so cut us a little slack,” Yankovic said before ripping into this fist-pumping jam which our buds at Consequence of Sound turned us on to.
Does this mean the Foo have to cover a Weird Al song now? I really hope they do ‘Dare to be Stupid’.

Starting in 2017, fans now have the ability to buy and sell tickets through an official, verified ticket exchange. Click here to post your ticket or view available ticket options.

The 2018 Wristband Registration and Lolla Cashless link will be available closer to the festival. To activate your wristband and register for Cashless, you’ll follow these three simple steps:
No. While we certainly think it’s the best payment option, you can activate your wristband without enabling the Cashless payment option.
Don’t stress! Visit the Wristband Activation tent by Buckingham Fountain, and our staff can help you add Lolla Cashless and set your PIN right there!
For more immediate assistance before the festival, please contact our ticket service provider, Front Gate Tickets, or by calling their friendly support team at 888-512-SHOW Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST.
Nope! It is free to sign up and free to use!
No. You will only be able to link a single credit or debit card to your wristband.
Yes. If you wish to allow your card to be linked to multiple wristbands, you certainly can. Each wristband will require a separate PIN. The PIN must be entered when using the wristband to purchase anything participating in the Cashless program at the festival.
Not unless the card you linked it to does. No funds are stored to the wristband, it’s just linked to your credit or debit card. As long as you could still use your card, you will still be able to use your Cashless wristband.
No. We do not actually store any financial data on the wristband. The PIN you choose upon Cashless registration will always be required to make a purchase. However your card number and billing details are not stored on the wristband. So don’t worry about someone snagging your info.
Yes! It works in conjunction with your credit card so it carries all the same security features and protection. You will also set a PIN during registration (just like a debit card), so no one else will be able to use your wristband or your Cashless Account without your PIN.
First, don’t panic. We can help! Bring your damaged wristband to a Ticket Help Tent at the festival (located at the Box Office and entrance/exit gates) and we can replace any activated wristband after verifying your ownership. You will have to re-link your credit card for security purposes. Then you will be back in action!
Please contact our ticket service provider, Front Gate Tickets, or by calling their friendly support team at 888-512-SHOW Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST.

There are special designated lanes at the festival entrances for patrons with disabilities. Look for the wheelchair signs above the entrance lanes or ask a volunteer to direct you to the lanes.
Our Access Center is located inside the festival grounds on Columbus Dr. just west of Buckingham Fountain. It is clearly marked on the festival map.
Our Access Center services include, but not limited to:
The Festival grounds are wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that this is a large venue with great distances between stages. Also, it is an outdoor music festival situated in a park. Therefore, most travel is over natural terrain. If it should rain, there will be mud in some places.
We do not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants if needed. In addition, the festival does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed.
Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed for use by Patrons with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, requests to use other power-driven mobility devices will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds with wheelchair platform locations identified. The wheelchair platform areas are reserved at all times for people with mobility impairments plus one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Accessible portalets are available at the ends of each row of restrooms throughout the park.
Outside food and drink (except for bottled water) is not allowed in the festival, but if a patron has special medical dietary restrictions, items will be allowed if accompanied by a doctor’s note. You will be asked to present your doctor’s note to security upon entry to the festival.
A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent (see public map for exact location). Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.
Animals and pets are not allowed within the festival grounds. Service animal inquiries can be sent to [email protected].
We provide many American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted music performances for patrons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Write [email protected] to request specific shows be interpreted. The deadline to request an interpretation is the second Friday of the month prior to the festival each year. Requests submitted after this date will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Check back closer to the festival for the schedule.
Please visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds with Deaf/Hard of Hearing areas identified. The designated areas are reserved only for Deaf/Hard of Hearing patrons and one companion. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fall Out Boy are apparently big fans of the game, Fortnite. They must be…if they include it in their concerts, right? Evidence:
TMZ recently caught up with the Fall Out Boy bassist — who reveals who the REAL gamer is in his family, plus talks his chances of winning some of the $100M prize pool announced in the first ever Fortnite pro tournament.
A nine year old is always good to have on your side in games, amiright? And while Pete knows he’s the best in the band at THIS game, he at least has the skills to leave the money in gaming to the pros.

Ok, glow in the dark ‘truck nuts’ for your bike? This is like a ridiculous spin on an already outrageous thing.
The inventor of the testy product is giving them a purpose: they bring extra attention to bike riders from other vehicles on the road and allowing for safer travel.
Yeah, you will not be able to forget seeing these in the dead of night.

On the same day they released their long-awaited album ‘Love Is Dead’, CHVRCHES took the stage today at the House of Vans in London to put on roaring show for an intimate audience which was livestreamed on the band’s Youtube channel. You can watch the entire performance in the video above and check out the set list for the show below.
Not enough synth-emo glory? Win tickets to see CHVRCHES at LOLLAPALOOZA RIGHT HERE!
Listen to all of the new album here through the ‘Tube.
Hammond Mayor Thomas McDermott was a having a great bike ride, but then he had to deal with a flat tire which caused him to discover some very silly graffiti on a public trail. McDermott found a bunch of genitalia shapes painted over A 50 foot space of a public bike trail, so he reported to the city’s 311 app on his phone. Of all the people who had to call it in to city officials, it’s the guy who runs the city?!
It’s a pretty embarrassing and ridiculous crotch-oriented crime story that was broken by the Post-Tribune.
The quotes from the article are laugh-out-loud on the first read:
“I see a penis,” McDermott said.
“Penis graffiti all over bike trail. Literally 20 penises painted on trail, like directional signs, except the signs are penises,” the mayor wrote on the city’s 311 app.
The whole thing reminds me of the outrageous premise of the Netflix comedy crime series, Amercian Vandal. Check out the trailer to see what I mean.
Linkin Parks Mike Shinoda will release his first solo album, “Post Traumatic,” in a few weeks. He just released a video for the song “Running From My Shadow,” featuring singer Grandson.

Good Charlotte’s announced a new album called “Generation Rx,” set for release on September 14. Here’s our first taste, a song called “Actual Pain”:
As demented as it is, a guy rigged a Barbie car up with an actual engine. And really, who wouldn’t want to give this a spin?
