David Koechner jumped on “The Late Show” Friday night, and he and Stephen Colbert reminisced about their days in Chicago. Colbert talked specifically about Schubas, though he remembered the club as being on Addison, not Belmont.
The BBC asked St. Vincent which guitar riffs she wished she’d written. The Pantera answer was surprising, but how about her version of “Forty Six & 2” by Tool?
Which riffs do you wish you had written?

Last week, the International House Of Pancakes created a buzz as strong as their usual buzzed 2AM patrons with an image of their logo with a flipped lowercase “B”.
We now know the “B” stands for…….BURGERS! YEAH??
Pancakes are SO last week.
Dear Internet, we abbreciate your batience. Now let’s see who guessed right. B-hold!!!!! #IHOb pic.twitter.com/Fh3SkZ7s3Y

YouTube user Johan Olsson wondered what alternative would sound like if certain music debuted in the era of synthesizers, big hair, and regrettably — Richard Marx.
The end result? This version of Green Day’s “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” — plus, just released, his interpretation of Fall Out Boy’s “Sugar, We’re Going Down.” Both songs will have you spinning out of control as you fall down this time-warp black hole…all while possibly while spilling New Coke down your Adidas track suit. And great advice 20 years later:
McDonald’s plans to add touch-screen ordering kiosks to thousands of stores nationwide to supplement in-store employees.
“What we are finding is when people dwell more, they tend to select more,” McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook told CNBC Monday. “So there is a little bit of an average check boost that comes with it.”

One of the greatest comedians of all time Robin Williams will be the topic of a long-awaited biographical documentary called ‘Comes Inside My Mind’ and this week we got the trailer. It reveals William’s larger-than-life talents and his life-long battle with mental health. Williams ended his life in 2014.
The trailer reminds us why Williams was widely beloved and cherished through several decades through his prolific career in live comedy, film, and TV.
The film looks to be in good hands with director Marina Zenovich who has previously worked on ESPN’s ’30 for 30′ and HBO which earlier this year released an outstanding documentary covering the life of pro wrestling legend Andre the Giant.
We got word this morning that Anthony Bourdain ended his own life at the age of 61. He was a chef, a traveler, and — above all else, for me — a storyteller.
In processing this sudden and sad news, I was reminded of the words he used to describe our city — prior to it being featured on an episode of Parts Unknown. Among them:
“You wake up in Chicago, pull back the curtain and you KNOW where you are. You could be nowhere else. You are in a big, brash, muscular, broad shouldered motherfuckin’ city. A metropolis, completely non-neurotic, ever-moving, big hearted but cold blooded machine with millions of moving parts — a beast that will, if disrespected or not taken seriously, roll over you without remorse.”

Since it is a 534 mile trek from the James and Sons Fine Jewelers Studio to Bonnaroo 2018, I’m going to venture to guess that you are likely sitting this festival out. But that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the music.
Thanks to Twitter, you can stream select performances. These performances are SO select, it appears, that the folks at Bonnaroo will be announcing the schedule day-by-day. On Friday (6/8), you can check out the following bands (central times listed):
Sounds like Alt-J and Moon Taxi will also be on the stream, but for the details — keep checking back each day. — [eric]

Michael Myers is back; and while the idea of another Halloween reboot sounds unnecessary, we encourage you to check out the trailer before passing judgment.
