Attention coffee addicts: Burger King is letting you get coffee at a discounted rate.
By signing up for the BK Cafe coffee subscription users can enjoy a daily hot cup of coffee for a total of $5 per month.
So basically, if a customer decided to go to BK for the whole month of April they would be paying under 17 cents a day for a cup of coffee.
Chris Finazzo, Burger King’s president for North America, made a statement talking about how they continue to work with technology to enhance their guests experience, and how they are… “proud to launch our own subscription service where guests can now enjoy a hot cup of coffee every day for just $5 a month.”
This will be WAY cheaper than going to Starbucks every day, but the new question is how good will the coffee actually be.
Woodstock, which made music history 50 years ago, is back in 2019 with a big-time lineup. Lollapalooza 4-day tickets are on sale now, so what is the lineup? The fest teamed with PAWS Chicago to adorably leak some of the lineup before the official lineup is announced. It hit the web today in a video with adoptable pups playing over a cover screen which showed album covers from the teased acts with clues being read in a voice over. Kudos to Lolla for coming up with a genuinely cute and intriguing way to build interest while also helping out a deserving local charity! The full lineup is expected to be announced soon. It’s like the Puppy Bowl but only with music!

On the one year anniversary of Dolores O’Riordan’s death, The Cranberries announced their eighth and final studio album, In the End. Due out on April 26th. The new LP features previous singles “All Over Now” and “The Pressure”. Here is another sample of the LP, “Wake Me When It’s Over”.
After all the teaser trailers we finally have the official trailer.
In theatres June 21st, 2019.
The answer is no, this was not a Chik-Fil-A promotional attempt, a cow was actually on the run in Noblesville, Indiana.
Wittiness actually caught on camera running from the police into the direction of the restaurant.
Officers put out a post telling people to include them in the comments if they got a photo or video of the ‘cowboy adventure’.
We’re unsure what happened to the cow after they caught it, but it sounds like those officers had an eventful work day.
Plus we think Chick-Fil-A needs to work with this cow next time they need to make a commercial.
Bulgarian brand Tonena has unveiled a ‘sexy mother of the bride dress’ on Etsy.
The gown is over $2,000 and the handmaid gown features an open back, off-the-shoulder lacy sleeves and a whole lot of feathers.
But it’s not the price that’s getting people talking, it mainly starts around this tweet posted by podcast host Rave Sashayed.
the pure awe i experienced when i saw this was labeled a “mother of the bride” dress pic.twitter.com/qH19bKLbS1
— Rave Sashayed (@_sashayed) March 12, 2019
It soon became a social media sensation and now has more than 22,000 likes, plus it set off a series of memes featuring Mrs Robison and Elvira.
Who’s the mother? Elvira? pic.twitter.com/i9ZEKD0kgt
— Darryl Dioso (@DarrylRMSG) March 12, 2019
This company has other dresses meant for the mother of the bride/groom, though most do look like they’re suited for Elvira than a normal mother.
Before the show…
Brian, Ali, and Justin discussed this story and actually thought the woman in the dress was actually a mother who wore it to her daughter’s wedding.
But just to be clear, this isn’t a mother wearing the dress for her daughter’s wedding. The woman in the dress is a model, unlike what Brian and Justin thought. Idiots.
This Twitter user actually has a good point to maybe why they might have thought that.
But why is she the age of someone who would not be a Mother of a bride?. Why are all mother of bride dresses modeled on 18-20something year olds?
— kro (@KroSchro) March 13, 2019
Then again, maybe not.
This best man faints during the wedding ceremony, not sure if it was because of the heat or because he locked his knees. Either way, it doesn’t look good.
We believe he even lost some teeth…
The social media older brother of Facebook and Twitter. The one where you ranked your friends in a ‘top 8’, Myspace. It was a huge website, and then just became a punchline. The social media website which still exists, revealed this week that any music uploaded to site between 2003 to 2015 is gone. In an e-mail from the site’s Data Proivacy Officer reported by Consequence of Sound, the issue was caused by “server migration”. To be clear, the e-mail also said “There is no way to recover the lost data.”
No, 101WKQX does not have a MySpace account.
It\’s not all fun and games when you\’re on tour with a puppet who likes to party.

So it was expected something dumb would happen during St. Patrick’s Day, now that’s not to say something dumb should happen during a weekend dedicated to celebrating the Irish and the feel-good vibes of a spring season to come.. Hopefully you had a safe and joyful weekend with family and friends taking in the Kelly green Chicago River or one of our many events around town. Well apparently, some people will have to learn the lesson that one should not climb a tree in Grant Park after drinking a lot. Yeah, it’s not a lesson you think you would not have to tell some people but here are several videos discovered by CWB Chicago that say otherwise.
Honestly do not do this. We get it. You are not getting enough attention for your ‘Kiss Me, I’m Drinking’ t-shirt that you thought would be a great hit with your friends, but just be safe and have a good time.
