Walk The Moon meet and greet photos from their visit to The Lounge.
Someone at 101WKQX is watching all the terrible television….so you don’t have to. And I feel so bad for whoever they are.
On the mid-season teaser trailer of a thing called “Very Cavallari” on the E! Network, Kristin Cavallari has indicated that husband & former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler helped out his wife by “sucking hard than he’s ever sucked.” On her clogged milk ducts. Hear for yourself:
Now, Ms. Cavallari says that her husband “saved her life” by doing this. So I Googled whether or not a clogged milk duct is fatal. Painful, yes but — surprise — not an immediate life threat, as long as you address the problem. And number nine on a list of ways to clear a clogged duct is having your partner help you out. So good on Jay for doing something more useful than anything he ever did in a uniform for the Monsters Of The Midway. — [eric]
One of the surprises on the surprise Weezer cover album was TLC’s “No Scrubs.” And while performing at Coachella last night in California, one of the trio to originally do the song — Chilli — jumped on stage to join the group. Here’s a fan video of the performance. The Teal Album is available now, by the way. — [eric]

A petition has started to have the first black hole captured by a camera — named after the late Soundgarden and Audisslave frontman.
Giuliana Jarrin writes on the Change.org petition that having the supermassive black hole named in Chris’ honor “would be a surreal and amazing way to honor his life and his contribution to music.” And as of the publishing of this article, the 35,000 signatures had been reached to make it happen.
Earlier this week, the Event Horizon Telescope captured the first ever image of such a phenomenon — thanks in big to part to the contributions of a 29 year old grad student. — [eric]
In the dusty wine country of California (don’t get dust in your wine!), Coachella is going down with K-pop girl groups getting headlines and pop favorites in headlining spots, but we feel the need to point out our alternative favorites playing it up big on the three live stream channels from the coolest kid’s music festival. They have sold millions of album, played to hundreds of thousands people, and certainly could be called the biggest band in the world. All those accolades earned from the pulse pounding drums of Dominic Howard, the wave-rolling bass of Chris Wolstenholme, and the rebel rousing power of singer/guitarist Matt Belamy known to us mere mortals as MUSE. So DIG DOWN into this song list before they play a huge show tonight at the United Center.
Let’s geek out, freak out, and likely argue over what are the best Muse songs. With some influence from listeners like you texting into 312101 and asking around the halls of 101WKQX, my Muse-loving mind culled together this top 20 never-to-be-challenged list that counts down the trio’s top tracks. Did your favorite rank high or low? Is there a song that is not listed that made you yell at the screen? Let us know on Twitter or Facebook.

Episode IX is coming!
The core movie Avengers sat down for a roundtable with Entertainment Weekly, and while they couldn’t say much about “Endgame,” it’s kinda cool to watch them talk about the impact of Marvel’s movies.
Matt Cameron, drummer for Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, has shared two videos on his Instagram story recording with Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne.
How did this trio hook up? Hawkins fronted a one off Soundgarden reunion performance in Los Angeles at the ‘I Am The Highway’ Chris Cornell tribute show in Los Angeles last month. The Melvins were the first performers at the show, introduced by Soundgarden’s surviving members.
We already knew Mike McCready, guitarist of Pearl Jam, is putting together a super group to perform at ‘Peak to the Sky,’ a day of music he will be curating on July 6th in Big Sky Montana. McCready will be joined by Red Hot Chili Peppers members Josh Klinghoffer and Chad Smith, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, and Brandi Carlile.
Are we witnessing the birth of a yet another new super group? Or another Matt Cameron solo album with special guests?
I guess we will just have to wait for more clues.

This weekend the McCormick Place will be hosting “The 2019 Star Wars Celebration”. A 5-day event that will celebrate all things “Star Wars,” from video games, TV shows, books, memorabilia and autograph booths. Plus panels and sessions with stars and filmmakers!
Friday is said to be the most anticipated day with all the talk on the upcoming “Star Wars: Episode IX”. Fans are hoping for the possibility that they’ll reveal its full name and get a chance to see a first look at the movie.
Chicago shall be seeing around 35,000 people coming to town from all around the world.
Unfortunately, all the tickets are sold out for Thursday to Sunday, but you still can purchase ones for Monday!
Looks like Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has made a friend while serving his eight-month prison sentence.
Turns out he and Fyre Festival founder Billy McFarland have become new friends while at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York.
Sorrento’s friends and costars Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino gave the update on the reality star’s time in jail on The Jenny McCarthy Show.
What might be sad is that The Situation is only serving eigh-months for tax evasion while McFarland is sentenced to six years for the disastrous Fyre Festival, so their time spent together is limited.
But they always can video chat!
Each summer moviegoers flock to Millennium Park for the iconic “Summer Film Series”. A free event that encourages families to pack food, drinks, and blankets to spread out in the lawn in front of the Pritzker Pavilion and enjoy a feature. Movies are shown on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm.
It’s getting close to showtime because the City of Chicago has announced the films that will be showcased this year.
Here’s the list of films that will be featured:

Coachella. It’s going down in the wine country of California this weekend and maybe you will be wanting to peak in on social media to see what the festival season may have in store for us in Chicagoland with Piqniq and Lollpalooza ahead. Well here is the way to do that with the streaming set times for the alternative bands on the first weekend of two for the hipper-than-hip fest. The performances will air on three separate live streams through Coachella’s Youtube channel.
Note all the set times are listed PST first, and then CST for us Midwest people. The parenthesis notes what Youtube channel of the three will have that individual act at that time. Thanks to Consequence of Sound for cluing us in on this schedule. It’s worth noting that some big name headliners and other acts that are listed to perform at Coachella can be added to this stream with little to no notice. Come back to 101WKQX.COM for the webstream links, too.
