Yuzu, a Japanese Restaurant/Pub in Ohio, tried to create a menstrual themed cocktail but it didn’t see to go well.
They made a Facebook post of their new cocktail ‘Even Can’t Literally’ which they describe it as “a berry #margarita thoughtfully complimented with a tampon applicator garnish.”
Wait, what?
This tampon-applicator garnished drink was supposed to be a way to raise money for a women’s shelter, but it just angered people.
One person commented saying…
“Round of applause Yuzu! I didnt think it was possible, but you guys took a charitable cause for women and still managed to degrade female bodily functions and mock female vernacular with the drink name.”
Many thought about how they could have just donated the tampons to a women’s shelter instead of wasting them.
Which probably sounds more reasonable, since they probably just threw out the actual tampon.
Nice try, I guess, just stick to making normal drinks.
TMZ reported how Marshmello is being sued for his mega-hit “Happier”.
Artem Stoliarov, aka Arty, is claiming Marshmello’s tack “Happier” is almost identical to his remix of One Republic’s “I Lived.”
Arty is specifically targeting the songwriters — Marshmello, Bastille frontman Dan Smith and producer Steve Mac — for allegedly borrowing the “original composition elements” of the revamped track “note for note,” including a repeating synthesizer pattern.
Marshmello came out with “Happier” in 2018, it’s become double-platinum and peaked at No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart and Billboard Hot 100.
Arty released his remix in 2014, where it became a hit and even peaked to the No. 2 spot in the Billboard Hot 100.
We have no real answer as to why people are putting shaving cream into their crocs, other than the fact that it’s oddly satisfying.
The current trend has people posting videos on TikTok of them putting their foot into a croc full of shaving cream.
Sounds strange I know, but it does look cool.
It doesn’t have that ‘oddly satisfying’ feeling, but we still have one question…
Wendy’s is bringing back its spicy chicken nuggets!
It’s all thanks to Chance The Rapper for posting a tweet on Saturday talking about the spicy nuggets.
Positive Affirmations for today: I WILL have a good day, I Will succeed today, Wendy’s WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today.
— Chance The Rapper Album in July (@chancetherapper) May 4, 2019
Wendy’s responded to the tweet with a challenge on how we could get them back.
Y’all keep asking, so here’s your chance.
The people in charge say if you guys can get our tweet (this one right here) to 2 Million likes, they will bring SPICY CHICKEN NUGGETS BACK.
Let’s freakin’ do this! https://t.co/qrtvWXjj9V— Wendy’s (@Wendys) May 4, 2019
Of course, Twitter users accepted Wendy’s challenge and it only took two days for the tweet to get 2 million likes. Which honestly wasn’t going to be that hard for them, they currently have 3 million followers and only asked for 2 million likes. Some people even created a twitter just to like their tweet!
People REALLY wanted these nuggets back.
THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
Spicy Chicken Nuggets are coming back! Y’all are crazy!
That took like a day and a half! WHAT?!
We don’t know when yet, gotta figure it out, but soon, and ok, LOSING IT RIGHT NOW THIS IS AMAZING!!— Wendy’s (@Wendys) May 6, 2019
There is no words for how awesome these Shreak memes have grown to become. Shrek is (internet) life which creates videos that seem like they were created by people with maybe too much time on their hands.
Oh here is the original by the way so you can see how much work was done on the above video.

Matt Maeson meet and greet photos from The Lounge!
A study that came out in the ACS that may have linked the polyphenols in red wine to \”significantly modulate\” bacteria in your mouth…the kinds that can cause oral diseases and tooth decay. Ew.
You still shouldn\’t ditch your mouthwash for a merlot, but it does mean that you can feel a little better about that daily glass of vino.
Cheers!

You’ve been warned..
Sometimes you see an opportunity and you have to take it. Well, that’s what Twitter user @allisonbgarrett did when it came to writing an essay about a movie they’ve seen.
She chose the one movie you don’t talk about, Flight Club.
But her essay was so good her teacher HAD to give her an A.
the assignment description for essay 5 was to write a review on a movie that we had seen. the opportunity arose, and i took my chances.. pic.twitter.com/1l1rMS2zg3

This professor has a great sense of humour and knows a good essay when they see one. But common, that’s a perfect review of the movie!
She gets extra credit from us.
Lori Eileen Day was sweeping the wood floor of a Springfield, Illinois home when she saw what she claims is Lincoln’s profile in a clump of dirt!
Craziest think about all of this, she saw this while sweeping the home of his wife’s former hairdresser, which is also only block away from the former home of Abraham Lincoln and his wife Mary Todd.
Talk about freaky!
Seems like someone forgot to notice the Starbucks cup in Sunday nights episode. Maybe it was too dark to see? But fan’s seemed to notice the mistake.
Viewers flocked to Twitter so they could voice their thoughts on this mistake.
You’re telling me they had TWO YEARS to put together a decent show and they couldn’t even spot the goddamn Starbucks cup in Winterfell??!?! #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/8opg7nyydv

101WKQX Lounge vet Billie Eilish admits she is constantly watching “The Office” on her phone — from the moment she wakes, to the moment she sleep, and — as you will see — a very embarrassing private moment. 💩 Dwight himself (actor Rainn Wilson) surprised Billie at home and threw down with this trivia challenge, which we get to watch thanks to Billboard. — [eric]
Today’s Kentucky Derby ended in controversy (video below)— but it’s probably not as s@#%ty as this business enterprise.
You can own a piece of Silver Charm, the 1997 Derby winner. A piece of the horse’s poop. For $200, you will receive a certified “derby turd,” tastefully presented in a decorated Mason jar. The proceeds go towards the horse retirement facility that the thoroughbred calls home.
Man….Amazon has EVERYTHING. — [eric]

Are high times ahead for Illinois? Gov. J.B. Pritzker today is saying he has made an agreement with critical lawmakers on a plan to legalize recreational marijuana in the state starting next year.
According to a report by NBC Chicago, the new laws could allow adults 21 and older to legally buy cannabis for recreational use from licensed dispensaries. Residents of Illinois could have up to about an ounce (30 grams) of marijuana. Another key part of the legislation would wipe away any marijuana criminal convictions.
Several states including Michigan, have legalized recreational pot. Illinois already has legalized medical cannabis.
With the Cubs/Cardinals rivlary heating up once again this weekend, it’s worth noting all of the reasons our fair city by the late is far ahead of St. Louie which has been dealing with our waste water after we reverse the Chicago River. This well produced video from Mr. Beat digs into the deep civic, population, and historical differences between the two midwest cities. It’s a must watch.

YUNGBLUD recently made a stop by 4Music in the UK and one of the things they do there, is have bands do a cover song. YUNGBLUD busted out some Arctic Monkeys blended with Drake’s “Best I’ve Ever Had”. It definitely sounds pretty cool. Give it a listen!
Be sure to check him out at Lincoln Hall July 13th!
