HushHush, a \”Luxury shopping marketplace & shopping concierge service\” based in London, is looking for a yacht reviewer. You could be flown all over the world to live on a yacht and and make certain they meet the brand\’s high standards. A keen eye for detail is helpful, since you need to make sure every little thing on the boat is in ship shape (pun intended).
The qualifications? You must be over 21, have a passport, and be readily available on short notice throughout the year. They say that \”You do not need experience of yachts, but if you do, that will give you an advantage.\”
You would make £1,000 per yacht review (roughly $1123 American). There\’s the potential to review up to 50 yachts per year, which would translate to about $56k annually.
Not bad!
Has man gone too far? This ice cream roller decided to mix pizza, hamburgers, and chicken nuggets into what many would call the ultimate sweet and savoury dessert… I wonder what it tastes like.
I know people like to dip their fries into their McFlurry…but this may be going too far.
Florida man decided to hang out of his sunroof instead of focusing on driving, probably not the reason they invented cruise control.

Happy Mother’s Day!
Can you believe it’s been THAT many years since we first heard songs like “Undone – The Sweater Song,” “Buddy Holly,” “My Name Is Jonas,” and “Say It Ain’t So?”
You think we would know EVERYTHING about this album by now. But maybe not.
For instance: Rivers was in community college when the Weezer (The Blue Album) came out, but he took a big step right after it’s release: he enrolled in Harvard to pursue a bachelor’s degree in English. He left with two semesters remaining….and eventually graduated in 2006.
Here are 10 other facts about the band’s first album, thanks to Rolling Stone. Find out how Metallica, The Cars, and a Playboy photographer connect to this awesome record.— [eric]
As we get set to honor those ladies who have taken on the task of raising spawn this weekend, I’d like to salute one of the great mothers in alternative rock history: Here’s why Virginia Hanlon Grohl rocks so much, IMHO:
SHE WROTE A BOOK ON RAISING FAMOUS MUSICIANS
In this interview, we not only learn a little bit about her book From Cradle To Stage (where she interviews the mothers of Dr. Dre, Michael Stipe, and Mike D. from the Beastie Boys) — we learn that Dave and his mom used to belt out tunes while driving around in the car.
SHE WAS A HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER — AND ALLOWED DAVE TO DROP OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL
From an interview with the Washington Post: “Everyone thought I was out of my mind,” said Grohl, 79. “I knew it was risky, yeah, but it seemed to me a way that he would learn about the world, and that’s what education is supposed to be. It’s not about getting all the answers, but showing you how to learn.”
SHE GOES ON TOUR WITH DAVE
In fact, the two of them are north of the border this weekend for Canadian Music Week, where Dave will interview his mother about her famous book. Virginia has been known to hit up many Foo Fighters gigs over the years, including their stop at Wrigley Field in 2015. Here’s Dave and the crowd singing “Happy Birthday” to his cousin and mom.
DAVE’S MOM HAS NO PROBLEM EMBARRASSING HER SON ON STAGE
For her birthday one year, Dave Grohl took her to a jazz club. She told him to jump on stage and show off his skills. He had no idea how out of his league he would soon be:
So, Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the awesome moms out there. I know there’s a little Virginia Grohl spirit in all of you if you’re hanging with us at 101WKQX. — [eric]
The very first iPod, still in the original packaging and wrapped in plastic, hit eBay this week. Want to take a guess as to the starting bid?
$20,000.
That’s four bucks for every MB of storage. Yup. Megabyte. But as documented by The Guardian, vintage Apple product is all the rage. Someone will jump on it. — [eric]

According to Consequence of Sound, Netflix has secured the rights to release a long-in-the-works animated feature film from 90’s Nickelodeon classic series ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’. The wacky show gained a lasting following, so it was exciting when the film was announced in 2017 but now it appears the anticipated film will be available for streaming in the future. The film called Static Cling will focus on Rocko and the gang returning to Earth after being left in outer space since 1996. Man, the internet is really going scare Heffer right?
This teaser shown at San Diego Comic Con featured Rocko and friends dealing with all the modern changes to even more modern life including how quickly cell phones get updated, guzzling down ‘Buzzbucks’ conffee, and where the heck did the comic book shop go?!
And for you early 2000’s kids, you are mixture of dark humor and kid TV glee will also be fan-served with an Invader Zim feature film also coming to Netflix. This is not fresh news but while we are on the topic of Nick shows getting the reboot, it felt like we needed to let you the invasion is coming in ‘Invader Zim; Enter the Florpus’. The follower teaser was first released last year at San Diego Comic Con.
Yep! Wendy\’s unique icy-but-thick milkshake will cost 50¢ for a limited time.
A small frosty normally costs 99¢, so the 49¢ price break might not seem like a deal – but you\’re basically getting two for the price of one…which will be my excuse when I order two for myself tonight.
Happy Mother’s Day from The KQX Morning Crew!
To celebrate the mothers, and aunt, who raised Brian, Ali, and Justin they read special mothers day poems. But these poems had a twist, each poem was written by someone else. Which can get a bit dirty…
Hear Brian read a poem written by Justin, Ali read a poem written by Brian, and Justin reading a poem written by Ali.
Jimmy Kimmel asked people if they cared about homo sapien extinction, the responses have us worried.
Also if you didn’t know homo sapiens are humans…

Prepare to swoon with your grandma. The modern music cover collective Post-Modern Jukebox adding the dashing crooning style of Frank Sinatra to the soaring anthem ‘High Hopes’ from Panic! At The Disco. It’s a quite charming take on the song with a mostly acoustic backing,a violin solo, and something that you will have dancing with someone in the nearest kitchen.
Check out exclusive Lounge session with Panic! At The Disco here below.
Sometimes with songs you love, you don’t remember all the lyrics. Maybe you just remember specific lines of the song. Well some smart ass on Youtube took that desire to love a specific lyric in a song to a whole new demented level when he ‘remixed’ Weezer‘s classic gem ‘Say it Ain’t So’ so all the vocals are just the line ‘Wrestle with Jimmy’. It’s pretty ridiculous and quite funny to hear especially with the wrenched in auto tune.
Check out everything fun from Weezer here including their TLC cover from Coachella and much more.
“It Chapter Two” comes out in September.
Who doesn’t like free things!?
Well, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is offering free admission to Illinois residents next month.

Well, it happened… Avengers: Endgame overtook Titanic’s record at the global box office. Director James Cameron tweeted his congratulations with a picture of a familiar-shaped iceberg:
