If you live in Mundelein, your life is about to change. The Mundelein Board pushed the proposal forward earlier this week, but struck down one part of it and people will not be required to put up signs that say they have chickens.
The final vote is expected later this month.

After five years of misery brought on by the Double Doink, there’s a chance that the Chicago Bears are back. Yes, in 2020, they snuck into the playoffs, and last year, despite a 3-14 record, they were a lot of fun to watch, but it’s been quite awhile since the Bears were both fun and good. That could change in 2023.
The combination of Justin Fields and newly acquired wide receiver DJ Moore did exactly what you’d want them to do on their first connection of the game.
Fields followed that up with another touchdown to Khalil Herbert.
The defense held up their end of the bargain with eight sacks on the game.
All in all, for the first time in a long time, it feels good to be a Bears fan.
Tiffany Gomas, the woman who went viral after having a breakdown on a plane and claimed that a man “wasn’t real”, has finally spoken out. In a video published over the weekend, Gomas noted that while she has enjoyed the memes about her situation, she is ready to move on from the incident.
There are questions, however, that this is not actually the woman from the plane.
Gomas has not responded to those allegations.

Running back-turned-actor O.J. Simpson took to his social media yesterday to complain about the ruling of Henry Ruggs, a former wide receiver who was sentenced 3-10 years after a fatal DUI crash that killed a woman and her dog. The Smoking Gun actor, who was put in prison for a possible 33 years for a memorabilia heist gone wrong, says that math just isn’t adding up.
The running back noted, “Same courthouse, same city, same state. I don’t know. Somehow just does not add up to me. I’m just saying.”
Subway announced Tuesday that nearly 10,000 people said they would legally change their names to “Subway” to receive free sandwiches for life from the fast-food chain. The chain will announce one grand prize winner that will get free food for life from the sandwich establishment.

A fight has gone viral over the weekend in Alabama over a disagreement at a dock. The city’s mayor issued a statement on Sunday that said, in part, “The Montgomery Police Department acted swiftly to detain several reckless individuals for attacking a man who was doing his job.”
The video shows a security guard talking to the group, before they began attacking him.
Montgomery police said there are now arrest warrants out for four people, and more could come after police review more video footage.

It’s been a tough year for the White Sox. This just made it tougher. Shortstop Tim Anderson, who has made a name for himself as someone who will fight anyone, fell victim to a hard jab from Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday.
