A man in Arkansas is believed to have died after a hunting accident earlier this week. After shooting the buck, the man approached the deer, and that’s when disaster struck.
The deer was wounded, but not entirely down for the count, and when the hunter approached his would-be-trophy, the deer got up and attacked him. The man was airlifted to the hospital but unfortunately passed in the commute there.
Arkansas Game & Fish Commission reminds you that hunters should wait at least 30 minutes after shooting a deer before approaching it, and the KQX Morning Crew reminds you that maybe if you shoot something, it’s not that weird that they fight back.
A man in Pennsylvania schemed a clever plan to rob a bank on Tuesday. His plan, at points, involved changing car license plates, putting on a “realistic” old man mask (no word yet on if he was going to choose Nixon or Reagan), provide a fake tip that there were two active shooters and a bomb threat at nearby schools, and then with the police distracted, rob a bank.
. Unfortunately, the plan never got off the ground. When he told people about the active security threat at the schools, they called the cops, and when the cops found out nothing was going on, they arrested the man. He overthought the process and ended up getting arrested before he could even commit his robbery.

Cage the Elephant just released a new music video for their #1 song Social Cues that contains a phone number for you to text the band. Ask them what the deal is with Matt’s costume changes, the meaning of the song, or if they want to get weird before their sold out Nights We Stole Christmas show, I dunno. Check out the video below and tell Brad what’s up for me if you get him on the phone.
Grandpa Rossy is getting a three-year contract with a team option for 2023, according to the Cubs. He will be officially introduced at a news conference Monday.

“I’m honored by this opportunity to be the next manager of the Chicago Cubs. My time with this organization has been special since the day I joined, so to continue with the club in this role is a blessing for which I’m so very thankful. We have accomplished so much together since 2015, and my desire to lead this organization to another World Series championship could not be any stronger.
A lot has been made, and rightfully so, of my connection to the 2016 World Series team, and the notion that I’ll now be managing the players I once counted on as teammates,” he said in a statement. “Having those relationships going into this will be a bonus, no doubt about it. But those guys know I’ll be the first to hold them accountable, the first to demand their best daily effort and the first to let them know about it if they give anything but their best. I never had a problem dishing out a lot of tough love as their teammate, and that won’t change as their manager,” Ross said in a statement Thursday. “We’ll have our fair share of fun along the way, but working hard as a team, playing fundamental team baseball and winning a lot of games will be out top priorities.
There will be people I want to thank on Monday, but for today I’d especially like to thank my family and two of my mentors, Bobby Cox and Joe Maddon for their guidance and support throughout the years. I’d also like to thank the Ricketts family, Theo Epstein, Jed Hoyer and the Cubs for this opportunity of a lifetime. Now let’s get to work.”

“Are we these people now?” questioned a wife in Decatur, Indiana after discovering her husband was riding through their neighborhood in a skeleton costume and their baby.
We understand this woman’s rage completely, but the father-baby costumes were so cute that this time, we’re going to let it slide.
Phoenix police released a video that plays heavy into the idea of bringing blindside blocking back into the NFL.
An angel in the form of a Chevy Cruz may have saved the lives of a couple pushing a stroller through a Phoenix crosswalk at 53rd Ave & Indian School.

A suspected drunk driver completely blew through a red light, luckily though a car happened to be turning left ( the fullback of the road) at the green at the light.
Right before the drunk driver had a chance to run over the couple crossing the street the left side (strong side) car caused a hardcore and firey crash!
This driver must have watched The Blindside in their drivers-ed class.
We’ve never seen anything quite this heartwarming. A seven-year-old in Brazil with cerebral palsy was built this skate contraption by Skate Anima in Brazil and his badass mother helped him shred around their local skatepark.
He has Cerebral Palsy and wanted to skate board so his mom created this for him so that he could.

Beck is following up 2017’s ‘Colors’ with a new album called ‘Hyperspace’ due out on November 22nd. To build to that release, Mr. Hansen dropped a new video today with some big cameos from actors Evan Rachel Wood (Frozen 2) , Tessa Thompson (Westworld) , and Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development).
While the contract hasn\’t been finalized yet, the Cubs are reportedly hiring catcher David Ross as their next manager.
Cubs President Theo Epstein told the Chicago Tribune, “It’s an obvious goal, but we want to make sure the players we have, we’re developing them and creating an environment where they can continue to grow and thrive. If we have players who can be successful major-league players, we have to find a way to make it here.”
After numerous interviews with former managers and current coaches, they appear to have landed on Ross. Though he doesn\’t have any formal manager experience on his resume, he\’s demonstrated his leadership skills throughout his career.
McKamey Manor in Summertown, Tennessee is ground zero for scary scenarios this Halloween season. The scariest haunted house in the world requires a sports physical, a background check, and a 40-page waiver to even enter the park
Owner Russ McKamey notes that the price of admission is relatively cheap, but finishing the thrill ride nets you $20,000. This year, the visitors must watch a two-hour video called “And Then There Were None” which details how no one has ever been able to finish the park.
We at the KQX Morning Crew volunteer to send Justin to McKamey Manor. Not only do we think he can survive, but we think he might like it there. He might even volunteer to live there once he’s done with the haunted house.
It’s National Slap a Coworker Day and the KQX Morning Crew is gladly celebrating it.

Remember when you were young, and that extra cupcake DIDN’T go straight to your thighs or gut? 2,000 people were asked what they’d eat if they could “eat like a kid” for a whole day with no consequences.
And here’s what the average American’s full day of kid meals would look like: We’d start out with yogurt for breakfast . . . followed by pizza for lunch . . . ice cream as a mid-day snack… pizza AGAIN for dinner . . . then apple pie for dessert.
Yes, the average person would have pizza TWICE.
The breakfast foods with the most votes were yogurt . . . bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches . . . and ice cream.
For lunch, the top choices were pizza . . . fried chicken . . . and burgers.
and for dinner, the foods with the most votes were pizza . . . fried chicken . . . and spaghetti and meatballs.
Ice cream, chips, and fries are our top snacks. And our top desserts are apple pie, milkshakes, and chocolate chip cookies.
