Mayo Slices Are Now a Thing That Exists

Two years ago, SLICED KETCHUP came out and went viral . . . even though it seemed pretty unnatural.  Well, this is even less natural.

A company in Japan is taking preorders for MAYO SLICES.  You can buy a package of four slices of mayo that look just like slices of cheese . . . only, you know, they’re mayo.

For whatever reason, the company decided to FLAVOR the mayo slices with different types of fish.  There’s no word on whether they might make it over to the U.S. . . . but would you even want them if they did?

Many people are saying the rebirth of heavyweight boxing mattering again is upon us.

Fury VS Wilder II was supposed to mark that rebirth, and boy did it not disappoint.

Hold on, wait a second… did you see that?

Oh my… Tyson Fury was not joking when he said he wanted to taste his opponent’s blood.

Congrats though big guy.

In all seriousness though, Tyson Fury has had a long road to this title and if you’ve ever heard him talk about his mental health struggles you know how tough it was.

What an electric fight it was. Congrats to both fighters… I’m sure they both walked away with a pretty penny.

Flat Earth theorist dies in home made rocket

Say what you want about Flat Earth theorist “Mad” Mike Hughes, but the man has some courage to launch himself up in the air in a man-made rocket.

People close to him say he was a self-proclaimed daredevil.

This was not his first time strapping himself to a rocket. Apparently he has had successful flights before.

This launch however… was not the best.

RIP Mad Mike, I hope Heaven is as flat as the Earth is in your mind.

Also kids, please don’t ever strap yourself to a rocket. Flat Earth or not… keep your life.

On February 19th, the Foo Fighters celebrated the 25th anniversary of their first gig — a kegger in Seattle.  And the band posted a picture as proof:

How old were you when you discovered your favorite band?

Music and youth. They are synonymous with each other. Part of becoming a young adult is picking up the flag of a band or a musical artists that speaks to you in that emotionally turbulent time when you are growing into yourself. So how old were you exactly when you had that discovery of your first ‘favorite band’? That band that maybe you still listen to now and hold in a special place in your heart. When did you have that formative experience?

TickPick surveyed 1,010 people the question and determined a few things on this, and it looks like most people find that music at 13. The survey added that you’ll be introduced to “explicit” music about the age of 12, and that attending concerts with your parents when you’re young helps you develop a stronger bond with them.

When I was on air today, I asked 101WKQX listeners to text into 312101 with their pre-teen/teen music origins. It was engaging to hear you all share your different beloved bands and how they shaped you. Trash Theory did a really fantastic job with this video essay about why My Chemical Romance is such an important band to the ’emo kids’ out there.

NFL wants more playoff teams, Players not a fan of it

The NFL and the NFL Players Association are currently trying to hammer out a collective bargaining agreement which includes some massive changes to the league of leagues. The league reportedly wants to expand the playoff structure to 14 teams which would add more games with millions more in TV broadcast and ticket profits.  Westwood One sports wizard Pat MacAfeee who was a kicker for the Indianapolis Colts, breaks down why this deal has so many conflicts in the video above. Friends reunion is happening with a big price tag

Listen here all you smelly cats, the FRIENDS reunion is happening. The long rumored and reported reunion of the mega-sitcom is going to be filmed as a one-time special for the upcoming streaming service HBO MAX who will also be the spot to get your binge on for the classic NBC comedy that ran from 1994 to 2004 with monster success, years in reruns to follow on TBS, and generations of new fans discovering the show through on-demand streaming. it’s worth noting this special will be unscripted and will not see the show reviving the characters.

The central cast members  Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Courtney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow are all set for the special with a reported hefty price tag of 3-4 million each according to Deadline.

Guy quits job by singing a dirty song

This clip went viral and boy is it a gem. Sometimes you work a job that you don’t like with a boss who is really mean, and you fantasize about making a big scene when you quit it all for a better gig. Well take that vibe and put it to song! That’s just what happened here in this video that was shared by Funny or Die, where a coffees shop employee plays to a delightful foul mouth ditty about how his boss treated him bad so he’s out. Anesti Danelis was not having it anymore, and he made something special out of it. You got to appreciate how he added reasoning into the song about why he’s doing this.

Be aware, there is some naughty words in this. Also remember this when you some stressed out making your extra venti carmel frap whatever.
