If you aren’t getting enough matches on your favorite dating app there may be a simple solution.

Apparently, some people who have had trouble getting men’s attention on dating apps simply dyed their hair blue and it has upped their matches a lot more.

The bright colored hair grabs the attention of the swiping man’s eyes and has shown to actually increase the amount of matches some women get online.

What a weird, kind of biological hack!

But don’t dye your hair if you don’t want to! I’m sure you are great either way, those matches are coming!!!

Mother and Daughter graduate from medical school together!

Here is some awesome news, there is a mother and daughter who just graduated medical school together!

Not only that, they have actually been placed in residency at the same hospital!

The daughter, Jasmine, was inspired by a trip to Ghana to pursue a degree in medicine while the mother, Cynthia, was already a practicing nurse but was inspired to pursue a medical degree by her daughters ambition.

AMAZING!

Oregon’s newest park might have the best name in the history of names.

‘Exploding Whale Memorial Park’.

This amazing title comes from the local governments decision to blow up a dead beached whale that washed ashore back in the day.

The community actually suggested and voted on this name, so it was a big team effort.

Really, this is truly an amazing name for a park.

Supreme Court rules on LGBTQ workers rights

Yesterday the Supreme court ruled that an employer who fires a worker for being gay or transgender violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.

This already protected people from their employers based on their religion, race, and sex but now will help employers who are apart of the LGBTQ community.

The 6-3 decision comes at the perfect time while we are all celebrating pride month together!

This is a huge win for the LGBTQ community and for workers all across the country.

There is a naked man on the loose running the trails of Greensboro North Carolina

There is a man who is running along the trails of Greensboro North Carolina.

This seems like a completely normal thing, except this guy is also completely naked.

And he isn’t afraid to let anyone see.

People have been spotting him all over the place, a lot like big foot honestly, since the beginning of June.

He hasn’t done anything bad, however, people are uncomfortable walking or running the trails now that they know there is a naked man on the loose.

Dave Chappelle has a new special out now!

Dave Chappelle created a brand new comedy special in the coronavirus world responding to the murder of George Floyd and it is amazing.

He titled it 8:46, which was the amount of time that George Floyd was under a police officers knee when he was murdered.

Even thought the subject matter is hard, and there are so many restrictions put in place to put this show on, it is still nice to see a comedian perform again.

Really think about it, what is the purpose of deer?

They are kind of the worst.

They just stand around and run into cars, kind of a skumbag move in my opinion.

Here’s a great example, this lovely couple was just trying to go camping with their nice new (and probably expensive) camper and this deer decided to put an end to that real quick.

All I’m saying is maybe we should consider banning deer…

Dogs training to detect COVID-19

Man’s best friend may help in the fight against the Cornavirus with a recent project launched at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine which  is hoping to train dogs to sniff out humans to determined whether or not you have been infected. Dogs with their super sense of smell and effective training could possibly detect the virus in people who asymptomatic or catch the virus in someone early on before they show symptoms. The hope is this could be used to screen a lot more faster and at a greater rate of detection. Check out this video from Mashiable for more.

Professor James Logan who is working on the plan, stated that when fully trained the dogs have had success in prior screenings for Malaria and could potentially screen 250 people per hour. He also noted the welfare of the dogs is being deeply addressed to prevent them from being armed or spreading the virus themselves.

“We conclude that there is a very high evidence that the armpits sweat odour of COVID-19+ persons is different, and that dogs can detect a person infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus” says a recent medical study published on June 5th by biorixv.org.
