The drive-in movie renaissance has come to Walmart. Starting next month, 160 Walmart parking lots will be turned into pop-up drive-ins. Walmart says people who come to see a show can order snacks for curbside pickup before the movie begins. The events are expected to run through October. Disney+ continues to make waves in streaming TV and now more details have been revealed about one of their anticipated Marvel series on with Anthony Mackie, who has long played Falcon in the MCU saying the upcoming ‘Falcon & Winter Soldier’ series is going for a movie-level vibe. The series will debut in August.
“We’re shooting it exactly like a movie,” he said in Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors’. “Everybody who had worked on TV before was like, ‘I’ve never worked on a TV show like this.’ The way in which we were shooting, it feels exactly like we were shooting the movie cut up into the show. So instead of a two-hour movie, a six or eight-hour movie.”
