Jack Black reminded us this week that we can all be heroes in the fight against COVID-19 by wearing a mask. The ‘Nacho Libre’ star wearing a bright red cape and a Speedo, called on people to wear a specific type of mask to stop the spread of germs. The video also sees Black dive into a pool with the cape on, which just looks like fun.
Wow where does time go? It’s really hard to believe it’s already been three years since the world was froze by the chilling news of Chester Bennington’s death. And for it to happen on Chris Cornell’s Birthday is just another reminder of how important mental health is.

Kind of hard NOT to remember. Starting in the mid 90s, THIS was the standard uniform for Billy Corgan at most every concert. The backstory on how this came to be is pretty interesting, which FeelNumb detailed a few years back. Among the things you can learn from the article:
The business from which the original ZERO t-shirt is from.
How ZERO morphed into a fictional character for one of the band’s albums.
How much an original ZERO t-shirt worn by Billy sold for on an eBay auction.
Well, get ready to get jealous! United Kingdom prime minister Boris Johnson announced this week as part of phase 4 in a COVID-19 response plan, that live concerts will return in England next month. These indoor performances will be held under very strict guidelines with social distancing, reduced attendance counts, online ticketing, sanitizing stations, and staggered show schedules to break up the flow. This follows news from a few weeks ago covering the opening of a very unique outdoor music venue that was designed completely with socially distancing due to COVID-19 in mind.
England has currently 294,000 reported cases of the Coronavirus.

Watch Tim from Rise Against perform ‘People from Here’ in the LOUNGE.
Hometown heroes Rise Against released a deluxe version of their magnificent 2014 album, ‘the Black Market’ with three new tracks which had previously been released on vinyl and as b-sides on foreign singles. The three new songs are “About Damn Time”,“We Will Never Forget” and “Escape Artists”. Lead guitarist Zach Blair called the album their darkest to date but also their most “triumphant” according to Consequence of Sound. It definitely another example of RA’s continued efforts to always evolve yet stay true to their emotional gravity in putting in the good fight for the right thing.
We have been saying it for a few months now that 2020 is “the worst year ever” but Weird History contends that year 536 with volcanic ash clouds inducing food depletion, massive climate changes, plagues taking many lives, and of course, war. Humanity always with the wars, ya know?
