A local news anchor had some things to say about this…

That’s a sly dig at Clemson getting man handled by LSU in the last college football championship. HAHA!!

Also c’mon kid, you’re not even in the league yet! How are you gonna take yourself off the market already!!!

Student accidentally deletes exam by dropping meatball on computer

You see there are so many hazards when you are learning from home!

You never know when a flying meatball from your sub might delete your entire exam!

Always eat your subs with caution kids, that is the lesson to take away here!

TRAPT only sells 600 of latest album after talking major trash

After a long time of talking major garbage online TRAPT’s newest album ‘Shadow Work’ only sold 600 copies in the first week.

That is a little under their 5,400 copy prediction they put out there while arguing with people on twitter…

Since their last studio album release their first week numbers have dropped by 87%.

Turns out talking trash online is not the best marketing tactic!

Floating movie theater coming to Chicago

Drive-in theaters have seen a revival with their natural ability to offer social distancing in our current pandemic circumstances, but now a new way to watch a movie with friends will become available. Beyond Cinema is an Australian company that before the pandemic successfully hosted floating theaters with boats. Now those sanitized boats will come to the United States. Each screening will have 12 to 24 boats according to Consequence of Sound.

You can sign up here to find out when tickets go on sale for the Chicago screenings from September 9th to the 13th. It’s worth noting that no specific movie titles have been announced yet but the website does say it will be “a mix of golden oldies and new releases”.  No specific local body of water has currently been designated to host the screenings.

You still have some great options for drive-in movie theaters around Chicago too. Here is a refresher on that experience from Chicago’s Best.

Taylor Hancock built a boat (for his dog) out of cans

Some of us chose to keep ourselves busy during quarantine whether it be building a quarantine deck:

One man, Taylor Hancock, asked not what White Claw could do for him during quarantine, but what he could do for White Claw (and his dog.)

He also happened to have a bunch of glue on hand.  Introducing: S.S Clawdia and her captain, Captain WhitePaw.

What have you done with your quarantine?  Tweet me pictures: <3 @laurenoneil

Man saws neighbors garage in half over boundary dispute

This guy was very friendly with the man who built a garage that reached over onto his property, unfortunately he was not friendly with the family that he left behind after his neighbor died.

So in the most petty move of all time. He sawed the garage in half, because he legally could!

This is the most extra thing someone could do!

And we are all about it!

MGK teases new song ‘Concert For Aliens’ with Travis Barker

MGK has a new pop punk song coming out titles Concert For Aliens and gave us all a little snippet of the song featuring Travis Barker on drums. Needless to say, we love it!

Should MGK be the new frontman for Blink-182???

When did he start singing and stop rapping?

Zack Snyder talks the ‘Justice League’ Synder Cut

Zack Synder left the much-maligned “Justice League’ film in 2017 before it could be completed due to a family issue. Some fans of the DC Cinematic Universe claim the superhero team-up did not show off Synder’s grand vision for Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and more. ‘Avengers’ director Joss Whedon took over the project with reshoots but the theatrical release left fans feeling underserved.

Then a few months ago we learned the fan movement to get the ‘Synder Cut’ released by Warner Bros Studios had become successful and an expanded version of the film will come out next year on HBO Max. Beyond the Trailer got a must-see interview out this week for hero movie fans where Synder talks about why the story matters, how he is approaching the hype around the film, and much more.

SNL working on plan to get back in the studio

AV Club and Variety are reporting that TV comedy franchise ‘Saturday Night Live’ could return to the famed Studio 8H in New York for the upcoming season. SNL went dark due to COVID-19 earlier this year. In April and May, the cast produced three well-received pre-filmed episodes with the sketches being performed from their homes. So what happens with the upcoming season?

Producer Lorne Michaels and NBC are working on a plan to bring the show closer to the usual look and feel, but how that happens is not known at this time. SNL tends to move the pop culture meter the most during an election year so hopefully, they are making comedy gold this fall.

‘The Tonight Show’ returned to a studio recently with social distancing, a masked camera crew, and the Roots providing the soundtrack. Here is a look at how Jimmy Fallon and his team made the adjustment.

This man lost 200 pounds so he could ride a roller coaster!

The Ohio man used to love going on them all the time, but unfortunately got so big that he could no longer fit.

That all changed when Kings Island amusement park announced their newest roller coaster. This motivated the man to get down to a weight that would allow him to ride the new ride.

200 pounds later and he has already ridden it 5 times!
