Viewer spots a reporters cancerous growth and saves her life!

A viewer of some local news down in Florida spotted a growth on a reporters neck that could save her life!

They were watching the News and noticed a protrusion on the reporters neck. They were so concerned that they emailed the reporter and urged her to seek medical treatment.

Turns out they were right and the protrusion they noticed was cancerous!

Luckily the viewer caught it soon enough and the reporter was able to seek help.

Humanity can rule sometimes!

Want to be apart of the Coronavirus vaccine?

Are you someone who is so confident in science that you’d be willing to try out a COVID-19 vaccine before it’s even released to the public?

Well then you should volunteer to be a test subject in the new COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials.

Researchers are always looking for volunteers to try out their new trials of vaccines, and who knows… maybe it’ll work!

But that could come at a price of course! This is NOT, and again really take this to heart, NOT the coronavirus cure. It is just where researchers are at right now.

If you think you would be a good fit for a clinical trial, and want to be involved in the study to vaccinate COVID-19, then check out this website here.

Maybe you’re a good fit!

Maybe they’ll accidentally give you a third ear…

Forget headphones. How about music piped directly into your brain?

The evolution of headphones — may very well be no headphones at all.

Elon Musk’s idea?  Streaming music directly to a microchip implanted in the head, through technology that is being developed by his new startup company Neuralink.  Of course, that’s just ONE tiny little feature of many the chip could provide humans.

More on this from Alt Press, if this news has — <COUGH> — stimulated your brain. — [eric]

Watch the Rick & Morty Season 5 teaser

Adult Swim teased the upcoming and very anticipated Season 5 of the very popular ‘Rick & Morty’ on their streaming AdultSwimCon this weekend and IGN broke down the animatic teaser with unfinished animation. It features an entire scene with the always emotionally-repressed Morty getting a date with his unrequited Jessica while at the same time crashing through the Eath’s atmosphere. It’s one of the scenes that define the show’s ability to balance the bizarre sci-fi elements with dark humor and a sincere heart.

There is no premiere date for the next season just yet, but it’s noted here that the writing team behind the show lead by Dan Harmon is closing out the Season 5 finale and looking ahead to Season 6.

Millennial nerds, rejoice! Video game channel G4 is coming back

As part of the Comic-Con @ Home panel stream with IGN, came this teaser that video-game centric cable channel G4 is returning in 2021. The channel went off the air in 2014 but in it’s early 2000’s heyday had dedicated audiences for shows like ‘Attack of the Show’. ‘Web Soup’ and ‘X-Play’. The trustworthy dudes of Internet Today layout the entire relaunch with some insight on how it could be available as a streaming-only option on NBC Universal’s Peacock. Note there is some naughty words in this, so wear your headphones.

Here is the teaser trailer.

No fans at MLB games has some weird moments

So sports without fans are weird but it’s admiring to see how the big leagues are trying to make their televised presentation into something. From fans buying cutout pictures of themselves to digitally dubbed in crowd noise and even computer-generated ‘fans’ in seats, it’s pretty weird.

Here are some of the odd highlights in video form below.

Watch Superman’s black suit revealed!

Comic-Con @ Home has been streaming entertainment panels online this week but the fan-created Justice Con with a DC Comics focus presented a special Zoom panel with director Zack Synder who came with something special. Synder teasing what awaits fans in the upcoming ‘Justice League’ Synder Cut, dropped a doozy of the short clip which revealed Superman in his black costume.  In this video, Beyond the Trailer breaks down the entire segment and lays out why the black costume is so important to the Superman mythos.

Watch the clip showing off the charcoal caped Superman here.

Kudos to Synder for giving fans this wonderful morsel as hundreds of thousands got behind the online campaign for him to be able to release his version of the 2017 superhero team-up film. Synder left the production due to a family issue before it could be completed, and Warner Bros Studios then had ‘Avengers’ director Joss Whedon step in for reshoots to finish the project.

A full trailer is expected at the officially sanctioned DC Fan Dome event which will stream online next month. The Synder Cut comes to HBO Max next year.

Watch this full interview with Synder talking about Justice League and more.

Corey Crawford returns to Blackhakws after COVID-19

Corey Crawford was once again absent from practices for the Chicago Blackhawks until Saturday when the goalie took the ice as the team prepares for the shortened season due to the pandemic. Crawford revealed to the press that he tested positive for COVID-19, quarantined at home, and waited beyond the 10-day requirement out of an abundance of caution.

“I was trying to stay as safe as possible with my family, we spent a lot of time at home with two kids … it was a really big surprise that I tested positive,” Crawford said Saturday according to the Score.

Crawford participated in today’s scrimmage game which you can watch above.

The Hawks will head out to Edmonton where they will face the Blues in an exhibition, before a 5-game series with the Oilers on August 1st. Let’s hope Crow can put on some moves like this again.
