Toast Yay is coming. Yay.
The new Girl Scouts cookie flavor will arrive next year. “Toast Yay” is a play on the word “toasty” (though we think it’s a bit of a stretch).
The new cookie was inspired by the flavors of french toast. It has a maple syrup taste and the frosting is described as similar to what comes on a cinnamon roll.
Because of COVID-19, next year’s Girl Scout cookie sales will take place online with contactless delivery available. If local community guidelines say it’s safe, Girl Scouts will be able to set up for in-person sales.
The video has been viewed over 2.7 million times on Twitter, and shows a very familiar Chicago structure but with some very scary circumstances. A man by the name Mike Dobija posted the following video which saw him with a group of people on one of the Chicago River’s bridges as it’s raised. From the background in the video, it appears they were on the Well Street bridge specifically, as you can see the Merchandise Mart in the background.
Yeah, how is that even possible? Well, this video and some investigation from CWB Chicago gives more insight into the story and debunks misinformation about the video which was already spreading.
Somehow I just know the joke “Probably a Packers fan” has been posted in the comments a hundred times.
DO NOT DO THIS! It is obviously very dangerous, to say the least.
Um. Wow. So a guy named Mike Dobija posted this video that he claims was made after the city raised a bridge while he and his friends were still on it. That hasn't been confirmed. But the video is…. #Chicagohttps://t.co/825pdEnZKI pic.twitter.com/bquoRBuAZj

Ellen Degeneres and her long-running successful daytime talk show have come under fire over the recent months amidst allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct within her production crew. Just yesterday three producers for the show were fired, and Degeneres apologized for the behavior of the now-former staff members of the show. People.com reported on the internal investigation and have more details here.
Enter comedian Eric Andre who has embraced an online petition to get him to replace Degeneres on the heartwarming show. The petition has garnered 44,000 signatures according to Consequence of Sound.. You can sign the petition here Funny or Die covered it in-depth.
Now clearly this is a joke, but Andre seems really on board for the idea.

To say that Andre who just recently released his Netflix comedy special ‘Legalize Everything’ would be an odd pick for the the Ellen Show would be an understatement. He is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most uninhibited and challenging comedians in the game who displayed this on his Adult Swim counterculture classic ‘the Eric Andre Show’. If you are not familiar, here is a taste. Note there is a lot of NSFW language and the phrase “you really think those words you just said should be on television?”

What a way to honor the legend himself.

So cool!
This guy has made people not wearing their masks in public his own problem.
And it is pretty cool.
I mean maybe we should just keep strongly suggesting people wear their mask and avoid any weapons in general…
Maybe don’t film yourself committing a blatant crime.

1) Ulysses Lee “Junior” Bridgeman, born and raised in Chicago, was selected in the 1st round of the 1975 NBA Draft by the LA Lakers.
His time in LA didn’t last long though, Bridgeman was immediately traded to Milwaukee as part of a package to bring Kareem Abdul Jabbar to LA. pic.twitter.com/ACIeL6P1oz
— Joe Pompliano (@JoePompliano) August 14, 2020
2) Bridgeman wasn’t a superstar, but with a career total of over 11,500 points and almost 3,000 rebounds, he certainly wasn’t a slouch either.
Playing 10 years with the Milwaukee Bucks and 2 years for the Los Angeles Clippers, Bridgeman excelled as a sixth man.
— Joe Pompliano (@JoePompliano) August 14, 2020
4) To prepare for life after basketball, Bridgeman spent his offseason working the drive-through at a local Wendy’s to learn more about the fast food business.
By the time he entered retirement, Bridgeman already owned 3 Wendy’s franchises. pic.twitter.com/KQlqARXAwd

6) In 2016, as part of a bottling and distribution deal with The Coca Cola Company, Bridgeman agreed to sell off his Wendy’s and Chili’s franchise locations.
The agreement with Coca Cola granted Bridgeman exclusive operations in parts of Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Nebraska. pic.twitter.com/hMrE3C5dPl

8) Were often fed astonishing facts about an athlete’s mismanagement of money.
With Junior Bridgeman, it’s refreshing to see a player recognize the opportunity in front of them and put in the hard work and self-education necessary to transition from NBA player to business titan.
